What’s a navigator? Didn’t gps remove the need for navigating?

Navs used/use physical means (time, groundspeed, ground track, celestial bodies, radar, pressure gradients) for positioning, pre-GPS.

Second question is spot-on. A few navs are still around, for missions where independent tracking on top of GPS is beneficial.

I’m all for pissing on North Carolina, but this appears to be nothing more than your run of the mill state fraud travel issue with the twist that a NBA player’s momma is a whore.

The “getting a job for the mother of a current/former player by circumventing the school’s hiring policy and possible state or federal hiring laws” part of this is somewhat interesting.

The “public employee uses public funds to take trips that are tangentially work-related at best” is not interesting at all.
