Neymar Was Booed By Brazilian Fans In South Africa Friendly
Brazil took a flaccid 1-0 result in a friendly against South Africa. Fans did not quite appreciate the effort of Neymar, who had a subpar performance, and booed him off the pitch as he was substituted. Dani Alves was not impressed.
Playing in Sao Paolo, where his club is currently struggling in the Campeonato Brasileiro, did not help Neymar’s cause. Neither did losing the Olympic gold medal match to Mexico. Even Neymar’s hair looks worn down, and sad. We’ll go ahead and predict he celebrates his 21st birthday, Feb. 5, in Barcelona.
For a contrast in fickleness, Brazil fans turned on Neymar. The USMNT still has fans holding a candle for Freddy Adu, despite eight failed club stints in nine years and losing his starting place in MLS.

When he came back to MLS, I really thought he would turn his career around. Be comfortable at home while playing against inferior competition. If he can’t cut it in one of the worst teams in MLS, where is he going to go next? Ghanaian 2nd division?
