The Texans defense got appreciably better after he was injured last season. They are completely fine without him.

Cassel is scared of his shadow.

Late yesterday, when the game was getting away from the Chiefs, he saw the defender jump to try to knock down his pass, so he did a pump fake and then threw the ball at defender’s feet. The ball didn’t slip out or anything. He took aim, and then fired a ball at defender’s feet. The crowd really let him hear it at that point.

Matt Cassel belongs in Tony Romo hall of fame. He can imitate the ol’ dongslinger and fire off touchdowns like they are going out of style. He makes you think like he has finally taken the leap. And then he takes aim and throws the ball at opponent’s feet.

I love when players are positioned as whiners for making legitimate points about blatant rules violations. I’m no Bills fan and allowing 48 points to a horrible Jets offense is the result of way more than illegal blocking. But he’s not wrong.
