Florida State is Favored by 70.5 Against Savannah State
Savannah State, through two weeks, has been the story of the college football season. The Tigers were 67.5-point underdogs in the opener against Oklahoma State and lost, 84-0. This week, Savannah State travels to Tallahassee to play the 6th-ranked Seminoles. The line for that game has set a new record: 70.5, according to Cantor Gaming.
The Tigers have four freshman (!) on the offensive line. Florida State, despite the loss of sack machine Brandon Jenkins, still has future 1st or 2nd round pick Bjoern Werner. Pound the over, folks.

I always stay away from games with lines like this. Never know when the coach is just going to shut it down after his team is up by 49. They’re not all Bret Bielemas.

So what part of the cut do the Savannah St players get for being lambs lead to the slaughter twice in two weeks?

Any William Hill sportsbook in Vegas will have this line. they are in the smaller type casinos as of now.
Cantor gaming might have it too (they operate Venetian, Cosmo, etc). Last weekend they actually put up a line on a lot of the FBS vs FCS games which was pleasantly suprising.

I didn’t, but I’m not a degenerate gambler, so…

They get the glory of being on the same field as future NFL and CFL stars.

Wow. There might be less than 7K at this Marlins Brewers matinee. Of which probably 3K are Brewers fans. Good thing the Marlins swindled Miami taxpayers into building that stadium.

It was Jeffrey Loria who lied about his organization’s net worth and the amount of cash and other assets they had to make a contribution to the stadium. Let’s give credit where credit is due. Jeffrey Loria is probably one of the top 5 biggest asshole owners in all of pro sports.

So ten $1 bets is the better play than one $10 bet?

That would be one way to sell out the stadium with temporary Savannah State fans
September 6th, 2012 at 1:09 PM
I think Savannah State can take em

Giving me 70.5 and anybody? I’m taking the dog in this fight. Covering that is going to be pretty damn difficult. Not impossible, but I like Savannah State’s odds of covering.

Savannah State: Building their program one beatdown at a time. This strong non conference schedule should get them ready for conference play. They should lose to Norfolk State by only 40.

Kudos to FSU on their incredibly tough out of conference scheduling. Following up Murray St with Savannah St is no easy task.

So I go lay down 100k On the dog, then give 20k to a linebacker to sweep the leg of the starting qb. No cover, everybody wins.
// by everybody I mean me and the linebacker.
