I agree, with the caveat that a lot of people are just too stupid to be accountable. Credit cards and mortgage lenders (at least 5 years ago) were completely predatory with their practices. While I fully abhor those who can’t show any sort of financial accountability and restraint, I do think there are institutions which bear a large amount of blame.
