Tennessee Fan Who Fell From Georgia Dome Upper Deck Died
A 20-year-old fan from Tennessee has died, after falling 35 feet from the upper deck of the Georgia Dome during last night’s Tennessee vs. N.C. State game.
Investigator Leon Harrison at the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office told The Associated Press early Saturday that Isaac Grubb of Lenoir City, Tenn., was pronounced dead Friday night, minutes before midnight, at an Atlanta hospital.
He said the man had fallen about 35 feet and appeared to have suffered injuries from blunt force trauma.
The fan he fell on was treated at the hospital and released.

Vez, that guy at the Texans game was apparently messing around on an escalator. I kept thinking of this scene from Mallrats: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gwGcP8QbH8

escalators used to scare the hell out of me. then you get over it. then you get busted by mall security going up the down escalator. then you have kids and get scared for them when they first use them

I liked the escalators in Europe. They have a longer landing section, where the steps flatten, than most American escalators. Very practical.

i like climbing the stairs, making it clear to everyone on the parallel escalators that they are fatties and how squeezable my buttocks are, from all the stair climbing i do

I walk on the escalator unless I’m carrying something heavy. The most annoying people in the world of moving walkways/stairwells are the people at the moving walkway in the airport who just sit there. It’s not a fucking carnival ride, it’s a way to help you walk faster if you’re in a hurry.

i think it’s cute to let all my kids play on the moving walkway at the airport. i try to wait until it’s really busy

So you’re the one who was in my way at the airport last week.

Are the refs going to call Ohio for leading with the helmet at all today? Seems like they are doing it on every major hit.

4 false starts on Syracuse and the Carrier Dome is dead quiet. Not much in the way of excuses there.
