In a short season anything can happen. Get some hot goaltending – like the Oilers or Wild early last year – and add the three point game and it’ll be tight.

Two years ago Sam Adams released one of the best Octoberfests I’ve ever had. Their batch last year was awful though. I’m not sure what happened.

The couple kinds I tried last year tasted skunky. I want to get some pumpkin beers but it’s too warm for that now.

Pour it in a glass and stick your nose in the head. You should smell the sweetness of the hops. Skunky is never good, though it coud be a bad batch exposed to something or the glass it’s served in.
