Javelin Thrown at Track Meet Goes Through the Throat of a Referee, Kills Him

Hopefully, no video of this exists:

A 75-year-old referee speared through the throat with a javelin at an athletics meeting in Germany has died from his injuries.
Dieter Schmidt had gone to measure the throw of a previous athlete when the javelin from the next contestant hit him in the throat and exited out of his neck.

The “athletics meeting” was actually the Wilhelm Unger Games, and it was shut down after the javelin incident. The javelin was thrown by a 17-year-old. [Daily Mail]

Some guy took a javelin through a leg a few years ago and I saw the pics. Also, I recall some guy going out into the field and got drilled by a discus at a college event.
