Rejoice! Vin Scully Will Return for Another Season
It’s been a pretty good weekend in Dodger Blue. The team went out and got Adrian Gonzalez to upgrade first base and the middle of the lineup. They’ve won two in a row to move back in wild card position and get back to 2 games of San Francisco after a mid-week sweep at the hand of the Giants dropped them out of first. Now, the team is expected to announce that Vin Scully, legend and institution, is going to return for another season in 2013, according to the LA Times. Per the story, Scully has been revitalized by the new ownership group and the team being closer to winning a title.

It’s gonna be a sad day in MLB when Scully turns off his mic for the last time.
He and John Facenda are my two all-time favorite sports voices.
