KC Res – you like season 2 of The Wire? I just started season 4 and I thought season 2 was horrific. Especially compared to 1, 3 and 4. I thought that was a pretty universal thought as well.

Every time Frank Sobotka, Ziggy, and/or Nick was on the screen I wanted to break my TV.

In the early 90′s, where I worked we had about half the grass leaning bent like golf greens. I once read that 85% of old golf superintendents died of cancer. Quickly ended thoughts of getting into agronomy and course maintenance.

I would consider golf course work as a bit of an outlier vs other ag related workers. No? Maybe not …

Yeah, that is what I meant. We only had very small pasture ponds. It would rain in the spring, and then the tadpoles would rot in the late spring. Stunk like hell.

Agree with your first point. Dad died of cancer. Never smoked and rarely drank. A bunch of the chemicals he used are either banned or highly restricted now.

I’m going to ask my old FB friends what the chemical was. I do remember being told at the time it was only smoke, but is was just a F-150 spewing smoke. Had to be something with it.
