Michael Pineda, the Yankees “stud” pitcher who has yet to offer anything in pinstripes, has been arrested and charged with drunk driving in Tampa.

According to the police report, Pineda was picked up at approximately 2:35 am Monday morning and released on $500 bail.

Pineda, who has remained in Tampa all season to rehab an injured shoulder, was apparently looking to shake things up and bring back some of that booze-soaked, March mayhem that was so kindly brought to us by Braves reliever Cristhian Martinez, the awful Matt Bush, ex-Red Sox pitcher Bobby Jenks, and the freaking bullpen catcher for the Mets.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman reportedly offered an engaging “no comment” on the story.
