Jim Harbaugh Hates the Replacement Referees
Niners head coach Jim Harbaugh, to the surprise of exactly no one, was not pleased with the replacement officials during Saturday night’s game against the Houston Texans.
The frequently enraged coach delivered some harsh words in the direction of the replacement stooges following the game, boldly going against the NFL’s wishes that coaches resist the urge of trashing the officiating crews.
“I don’t know. It’s interesting. I don’t have the pulse on this game. What was it exactly? Us? Them? Some crazy, wild calls. Were they accurate? Weren’t they? We’ll see. I have a headache (from yelling), though. I have a darned headache. A lot them didn’t seem like they were in the ballpark.”
Harbaugh’s just saying what everyone else is thinking. Literally everyone. There’s not one person who doesn’t share the same view.
You have to believe this issue is going to get infinitely more repulsive should the NFL and NFL Referees Association continue to treat progress like a disease. Playing nice in the preseason is one thing, but when these decisions start affecting the outcome of games that actually matter, it will become Thunderdome for all parties involved. In a sick, twisted way, I can’t wait.

Harbaugh had no issues after the first game when his offense had a pulse. Maybe reality is setting in early. This aint 2011 Dorothy.

Strangely, as an Ohio St. Fan, I like Harbaugh as a coach. He’s Rex Ryan with a brain and food discipline.

food discipline.
Rex Ryan disciplines his food. He shows that shit who’s boss.

Saw these kids skateboarding in the parking lot across the street from work. One dude was beasting it up. I skated for like a year, and after that year when I realized the only thing I could land on a consistent basis was an ollie I said screw it and sold my board to my brother. Couldn’t skate to save my life, but I’d put a wheelie in its fucking place.

(note to JMac – if you use that story in Monday’s roundup, give a h/t to Richard Deitsch who linked to it on twitter).

Never looked at it that way. Absolutely fucking correct, though.
