James Franklin Gave Out Free Ice Cream on Vanderbilt’s Campus

More fun before Vanderbilt starts its second season under James Franklin. Here’s the coach handing out Nutty Buddy’s on Vanderbilt’s campus. They are indeed “nutritious and delicious.” Maryland is planning to try this with Randy Edsall, when he reaches the requisite stage in his PR training.

This is actually a fairly old clip, and I did get a free Nutty Buddy out of it.
Franklin is pretty awesome, and really has done everything right since he stepped on campus. It’ll take a few lucky recruits to convince him he can recruit/win here, but it would be really nice to see him stay long-term.

Like I said before, it would be tough to take the over on Vandy in the SEC, but they’ll scare a bunch of teams and cover some spreads before all is said and done.
The enthusiasm around the program right now is infectious, and everyone affiliated with the team is doing everything they can to fill the stands with Vandy fans, and change the culture of all the home games being road games, etc.
