That’s some pristine fucking water man. I’m not sure what all the creeks and streams up around camp are fed from or into. Honestly, I think Penn’s Creek has a hand in just about every river system in PA. But point is that water up there is the same way. Not afraid to fill a bottle up while I’m fishing. You couldn’t pay me to do that here in Delaware. Not a single fucking place in the entire state.

This was like eight years ago, so I guess. Most of the money was used for administration and for school buses. Some of the bigger sports (football, track/field) also did fundraisers during the year to help offset the cost of new equipment.

That’s awesome. Never got into hunting myself, but I used to fly fish a lot, especially when I lived near Carlisle. Yellow Breeches had some awesome fishing. Used to go to Penn’s Creek near State College every year for the Green Drake Fly hatch, but in the past 5 years or so I’ve been golfing too much to fish on the regular. If I ever get sick of golfing, I’ll probably start fishing again.

Is this a more recent thing? I’ve been out of HS for 15 years. Probably wouldn’t have been a big deal for my HS, but I could definitely see some areas where it would be, especially where I live now.

What do you like about it up there?

I don’t know it’s home for me now. Close to Philly, close to NYC, close to the Poconos. Lots of decent golf courses, tons of awesome restaurants, places to shop, places to drink, places to gamble, all within an hour of where I live.
