This picture is an x-ray of MMA fighter JP Joubert‘s skull. You’ll notice it has many more cracks than your average skull. Joubert took a multitude of knees, elbows and fists his forehead in a light heavyweight championship fight last month against Norman Wessels at EFC Africa 15. The end result, according to the injury report was a “Frontal sinus fracture and concussion.” He was transported to the hospital for a CT scan, but is doing well enough to tweet.

Did I mention that Joubert came back to win the fight? I know I mentioned it in the headline, but it bears repeating that this dude broke his fucking skull and then won the fight. Wow. You can watch the entire fight in the Japanese YouTube video above. (It starts around the 8:30-mark.) Amazingly, not a single punch is thrown until more than 30-seconds into the fight. Somehow it turned into something memorable. It might have something to do with the whole skull fracture thing.
