There’s nothing like it. Missed a par on 18 to shoot under 80 for the first time ever 2 weeks ago. Brutal feeling, even after the best round of my life.

We would take weekends and travel from KY-AL playing golf. A group of men from our church (I’m in the minority here, I know. Even more so, I am a pastor) would take a week long trip to Myrtle Beach each year. I haven’t played in several years until last month and hit 97. First time in 3 years and loved it.

I was appalled at the greens at Indian Hills in Murfreesboro. Inexcusable. I can get around bad rough, terrible bunkers, and even mediocre tee boxes, but economy down or not there is no excuse for greens not to be taken care of.

Yep, won’t be doing that with my income ha. I’ll spend some money on golf, but it better be reasonable and it better be a good course. Good thing I live a lot closer to it now. Feel like I’ll be there all fall once it cools off

When I lived in Hendersonville, I played Pebblebrook regularly. Have friends that are members of Richland CC. One of the best courses I have been to.

I replied later. Nope, I meant Pebblebrook. It’s in Joelton, about 10 minutes off exit 35 on 24W. I hate to trump it up for you, but I’ve played it all summer and the greens are incredible. They take good care of it. Even have to wait sometimes for guy to finish watering greens. Thinking about going this afternoon.
