Wendys makes a similar gamble in Columbus. They give chili away if the bluejackets score 3 goals. They didn’t give away much chili this year.

If they ran that promotion this year, they’d run even less.

Last season Buffalo started 5-2 and scored 20 or more in every game, but after that, they finished 1-8 and only cracked the 20-point mark three times. They only broke 20 three times at home last year.

So in that scenario they only would have had to give away cookies 6 out of 16 times? Not so bad. That defense should make their offense look even better this year.
