Vanderbilt Had a Dance-Off: O-Line Coach Herb Hand Did the Worm
All, College Football, Fun, Video August 7th. 2012, 5:15pm
James Franklin is changing the culture at Vanderbilt. Here are some highlights from the team’s dance-off at fall camp. The most notable one is offensive line coach Herb Hand doing the worm. This video alone caused five more players to join the Mutiny plot in Maryland camp where players are sleeping on wooden planks, eating hardtack and wearing stupid looking helmets. [H/T: Clay Travis]

High hopes out of high school. Not sure what he did to get kicked off the team, if it really was that, but my top-of-the-head opinion of him is that if he works at it, he has the physicality, he could be a 2 year contributor, probably a good start for a season and a half.

Vandy is relevant, at least for the preseason dancing. Wow.

Thanks, sounds like he may be going to Nebraska

Are you asking me to leave?

Ok …. if you could TDKR a stadium, which one would it be? Not just the field, but the entire stadium. No one would be hurt and you wouldn’t have to pay for the damages. College or professional stadium.
I’m going with Fenway.

Wait no, I can’t read. Nevermind.
Yankee Stadium. Give those persecution complex fans something to actually cry about.

O.co Stadium. Lotsa memories, but tear it down.
Second choice would be the L.A. Coliseum. Too outdated.

Have you seen the Titan’s new one? It’s second largest and looks ginormous.

Liberty Bowl. it would make Memphis build a new stadium instead of bickering about stupid shit like not having enough money.
August 7th, 2012 at 6:09 PM
please…Hernia’s never been south of the Mason-Dixon. the sweet tea alone would make his hair fall out immediately.
August 7th, 2012 at 6:10 PM
As much as I hate to admit it, let’s go “two for Tuesday” and take the Pyramid at the same time.
I had some good times at the Liberty Bowl while in college. It too is way out of date.
August 7th, 2012 at 6:11 PM
Pyramid at the same time.
Last time I was there, it looked awful in that area. Sad.
August 7th, 2012 at 6:13 PM
If they had been visionary, that place coulda been one of the main attractions in Memphis. They aimed low, still missed the target, and now want to put the world’s biggest Bass Pro Shops in there?
Sometimes, I hate my hometown.

Sometimes, I hate my hometown.
You aint the only one. As a TN resident, I hate how everyone talks bad about the city, like they’re some embarrassment, when in fact most people think of Memphis when thinking about Tennessee.
/unconfirmed by me
August 7th, 2012 at 6:24 PM
That too is unfortunate. I’ve heard it from non-residents before. To an outsider, there are “two” states of TN – the ‘hood (Memphis) and the rest of the state.
As an escapee, it is kinda sad. As one who may move back, it’s chilling.

Know what outrages me? No one in this video Crip-walked.
