Tom Crean Sent This Tweet to a Recruit (Hopefully)

Tom Crean, Indiana’s head coach, sent out this tweet earlier, but quickly deleted it. It caused a minor ripple because, well … who is he talking to? A recruit? Someone else?
Crean quickly clarified it was a tweet to a recruit – in his defense, last weekend was an open recruiting period – and said his wife was laughing at him. Nevertheless, the wording came off a bit creepy.
This may or may not be a thing … only because Indiana is going to be the No. 1 team in college basketball next season.
