Florida State has dismissed cornerback Greg Reid for an unspecified violation of team rules. The senior was slated to start at cornerback and return punts and kicks.

Reid had been arrested earlier this month for driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana. He also had a bizarre, scooter-related arrest in September, involving a gentleman named “TFraz.” College football has a greater threshold for idiocy than most of life’s avenues, but sometimes one must admit defeat.
