I vote “yes” for Kat.

/either way, very cool shot.

“They were hiking in the woods when this monkey suddenly leapt on Jason from a tree and tried to bite his face off. Jason’s travelling companions managed to fend the beast off and Jason thankfully wasn’t seriously hurt, just shaken up.”
Hope there’s a video of that attack, may give Jason a few more minutes of fame.

Ms. Dennings NSFW
July 31st, 2012 at 8:43 AM
he would have more balls if he let someone like me do it. Daly is a 20 year pro, it’s not like he was going to rip the side of his head.

Never seen such a douche get so much tail. You’d think all these girls would get the memo about his doucheness and avoid him like the plague. List of girls
July 31st, 2012 at 8:46 AM
Can one of the writers (or ex-writers) here explain what might drive a guy like Lehrer to do this?
Seems to me if the guy really wanted to get quotes from Dylan (or any other musician) on the creative process, it shouldn’t have been all that difficult to do.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:46 AM
Mike Barwis, Brandon Graham’s trainer, is a scary individual.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:47 AM
Kat Dennings >>>> Chrstina Hendricks.
And it’s not close.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:48 AM
Really cheering for the guy. The Eagles D-line will be good regardless, but he seems like a good dude and having injuries derail your career before it even starts sucks.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:48 AM
Thank you.

July 31st, 2012 at 8:50 AM
Sounds like Josh Beckett could be getting traded before the deadline
This isn’t happening. Dude makes too much money next year and unless the Sox volunteer to take on most of that contract, they can’t move him.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:50 AM
I hope he does well too. It’s tough when the player taken two spots after you become one of the best defensive players, while you deal with injuries non-stop. But yes, the D-line will be really good. We can only hope the guys the Eagles drafted will step up right away.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:52 AM
I do! The idea is terrible and ruins everything!
Oh, never mind then.
Also, did anyone else notice this:
what a fucking train wreck. Don’t expect us to wait around for the primetime broadcast so you can get major advertising bucks and then tell us the fucking results before you “show” the fucking race!!

July 31st, 2012 at 8:55 AM
10:05 p.m. ET: A promo for another NBC production, The Today Show, talked up a Missy Franklin feature coming Tuesday morning and referred to the teen winning “her first gold” – about six minutes before viewers saw her do it.
I saw that. NBC is unbelievably crappy at this.

I’ve tried to watch it like 3 times because the chicks are hot and the title sounds like a porno, but it is beyond terrible.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:58 AM
I’d be more concerned if you found John Daly sexy.
July 31st, 2012 at 8:59 AM
If it wasn’t for the complete lack of confidence in the Defensive Coordinator, I’d actually be excited about this Eagles defense.
I like the Demeco Ryans trade. Bringing in Todd Bowles to coach the secondary (which underperformed last year) can only help.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:00 AM
What’s great is some guy who’s read everything on Bob Dylan found that quote new and then tried to source it. It’s not even a substantial quote. Like a filler.
I can’t imagine making up quotes. It’s the equivalent of working a cash register and stealing from the till.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:01 AM
+1. I mean i’d love to get my crank between those tits, but aside from that there isn’t a whole lot going on. She looks like a fat version of that one girl whos cheating on that one dude with the older dude from that vampire movie.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:03 AM
Soooo, this happened.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:04 AM
I think Washburn and Bowles will take on the majority of the coaching of the D. Just like Mudd is dealing with the O-Line.

July 31st, 2012 at 9:05 AM

Kat Dennings is just ok looking. Good thing for her she was blessed with an incredible rack. Because she sure as shit can’t act.

Ah, I forgot most guys here are blinded by the fun melons.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:07 AM
Nice. Is it disturbing that I find Feherty sexy?
I’d be more concerned if you found John Daly sexy.
David Feherty is to golf what George Lopez is to comedy. He shouldn’t be allowed near a self-respecting telecast for any reason.
John Daly won two majors, including one at the Old Course. Man can do whatever he wants. Legend.

I have no problem admitting this.

Anything is better than the pile of trash you’ve been playing at LB the past few years. Guy is decent but production is down the past few years.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Even if she had small breasts, id find her attractive. I just dont get it when guys think girls like her are fat. Do you expect all to be slendet?
July 31st, 2012 at 9:13 AM
I keep saying that everyone needs to quit complaining about the tape delay. you’re not who NBC cares to reel in. It is the casual viewer. Wanna bitch? focus on the online streaming which has been for shit.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:13 AM
I’m more offended by all the vacation Euros get compared to this nation…clearly all these hours spent in the office aren’t doing the country much good
July 31st, 2012 at 9:14 AM
scripty knows what’s up.
Daly has actually been playing pretty well this year all things considered. Has made a lot of cuts, although he isn’t doing much on the weekend, he isn’t blowing up and walking off the course anymore. dare I say, he is becoming more emotionally stable?
July 31st, 2012 at 9:14 AM
AP – i’m not hating her for it, but i am not a big fan of her look either.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:14 AM
The Orioles really would give up a top prospect for Joe Blanton?
seriously doubt it. schoop hasn’t been THAT impressive so far, but i can’t see why they’d give up on a 20 year old for Blanton at this point.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:17 AM
She’s got curves out the wazoo.

I’m just ready for the day he becomes financially stable enough to not have to wear those stupid fucking pants.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:18 AM
schoop hasn’t been THAT impressive so far
Pretty impressed at what he is done at Bowie for a 20 year old. And if they did trade Schoop for a middle class man’s Tommy Hunter, well…that would be a pretty typical Angelos move.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:19 AM
HA, i did the exact same thing.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:20 AM
I for one don’t think she’s fat, I just dont think shes very good looking.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:21 AM
7 of 9 cuts but only 2 top 25′s. That wont get it done. He’s at $260k, he could be fully exempt if he could get to $600k. So he’ll need a top 3 or several top 10′s.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:23 AM

I don’t think every woman needs to look like she’s on a hunger strike. I just don’t think Dennings is all that attractive, looks wise.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:24 AM
thats a nice roundup picture of a grass carp. TBL, where did you catch that?
July 31st, 2012 at 9:26 AM
In tennis, if you win multiple grand slams you’re pretty much a lock for the Hall of Fame, with the rare Johan Kriek-type exception (only one I can think of off the top of my head). Is golf similar? Is Daly a Hall of Famer?
July 31st, 2012 at 9:26 AM

I think Pence ends up staying.
And I’ll reserve judgement until I see what Amaro does with Cliff Lee. If he deals Lee and comes up light on return, I’ll help with the pitchforks.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:27 AM
yeah, unfortunately most sponsors probably remember his past all too well. I’d be willing to bet he does all right with that deal as well. I’ve never seen anyone wearing a pair, but they must be selling.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:28 AM
Hunter Pence sounds a bit sketchy. Not sure if I’d deal Choo for him. Think the Tribe could hold on and get equal value next year. Just pisses me off they did nothing this past offseason. Willingham over the Tribe’s yearlong LF crapfest is a 3-4 WAR adjustment, which puts them right in the thick of things. Fuck the Dolans. There is no way that team can survive in CLE another 5-7 years with them running the show. After next year’s sell-off at the deadline, the 2014 attendeance will be about 8k a game.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:28 AM
I’ll provide a small golf clap for the douchey Mr. Mayer. Ass or not, the man has the golden tongue with the ladies…
July 31st, 2012 at 9:29 AM
Missy Franklin is the darling of this Olympics. I love her!!
July 31st, 2012 at 9:29 AM
I don’t think they’re gonna move Lee. Maybe in the offseason, but not now. As long as Dom Brown is up by tomorrow and playing every day the rest of the season, I’ll be happy.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:29 AM
I think you just have to win X-number of tournaments to get in automatically…doubt Daly’s anywhere close to that number
July 31st, 2012 at 9:29 AM
HAPPY DEADLINE DAY!
/applies war paint
July 31st, 2012 at 9:29 AM
yeah, but in the past couple years it would have been 2 of 9 cuts made, with 3 WD’s and $46,000. like I said, all things considered, it’s not awful.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:30 AM
Upon further inspection (Wikipedia) it appears as if he is eligible
Current and former PGA Tour and Champions Tour players are eligible for this ballot if they meet the following requirements (beginning with 1996 election):
-Minimum of 40 years old
-PGA Tour member for 10 years
-10 PGA Tour wins or two wins in the majors or Players Championship
July 31st, 2012 at 9:30 AM

If Ruben doesn’t have Blanton, Pierre, Vic and Pence on plane trips out of here by 4pm, then I’m getting my pitchfork and a torch.
That sounds great as it means Blanton won’t be a train to NY to join the Birds.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:31 AM
Please, it was only 495. I didn’t see any 2 1/2 plates on the side.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:32 AM
no clue what the number is, but I think Daly has 5 or 6 PGA tour wins and maybe a couple Euro’s, so yeah.
he will be eligible for the Champions Tour in 4 or 5 years, that will be fun.

Sorry. Just not used to seeing you complimenting another female. Go back to being the old you.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:34 AM
This is the non-move that just destroyed them this year. He would have looked spectacular in the Tribe lineup as the RH masher between all those lefties.
I just can’t believe Antonetti thought they could actually win with Damon, Duncan, and Cunningham (now Lillibridge) manning LF. That’s really a fire-able offense.
Even if Sizemore was healthy (please, no laughter here), it still didn’t fix their need for ANY RH bat.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:34 AM
in honor of trade deadline day
July 31st, 2012 at 9:34 AM
well…that would be a pretty typical Angelos move.
i don’t think Angelos has much say in trades outside of the financial element. and the Orioles haven’t been terrible in the trade market the last 5+ years. they’ve netted Tillman, Jones, Hardy, Sherrill… all nice pieces considering what they gave up.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:34 AM
The only place that makes sense financially is Texas and they are not moving Olt nor are they willing to take on the salary Philadelphia needs them to. Severely doubt Clifton gets traded today. I think the only impact arm left that actually gets moved is Jason Vargas from Seattle. Dempster, Lee, Johnson, Beckett and Shields all stay put.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:36 AM
So excited for gymnastics and swimming today.
Today’s early morning stuff sucks though.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:37 AM
Hey Tribe fans… you want a right-handed bat? How about sending Dillon Howard and Scott Barnes to Chicago for Alfonso Soriano? We’ll pick up 80% of his remaining tab.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:37 AM
What time will that stuff be online? NBC’s page is loading slow for me (go figure).

Gymnastics 11:30, swimming 2:30.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:39 AM
John Daly wont be getting in the Hall, despite his two majors. He is pretty light on overall titles and top 5 finishes, and that he was a personal wreck that embarrased the game for the bulk of his career. Andy North has two majors (at bullshit USGA setups) and he aint getting in.
Daly will just remain the people’s champ. He still gets great turnout and is more a folk hero. But for those pants, it’s no worse than Jim Furyk looking like a NASCAR for 5-hour energy. The vast sum of these guys look ridiculous.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:39 AM

July 31st, 2012 at 9:42 AM
Aint that the fucking truth. I know golfers are some of the most low-risk/high face-time athletes you can sponsor, but damn if some of them don’t look downright silly. I know not everyone has the financial stability that Tiger has (or had?), but I prefer my golfers with a s little logos as possible.

Also, she’s got some pipes, she just sang it in a weird way.

July 31st, 2012 at 9:44 AM
The other thing, is it’s not like he was taken by a major-market. We got done by the twins b/c our front office didnt want to go a 3rd year.
I love the Indians. But just wait til this Browns nucleus comes together. This city is ready to explode for a decent football team. Then you have Kyrie and the Cavs, and tOSU football coming back.
2014, the Indians will have the smallest season ticket base in MLB and should not open the upper deck for any reason. It all happened under the Dolan ownership.
July 31st, 2012 at 9:44 AM
So you’re saying that John Daly will be an insufferable golf announcer in five years?
July 31st, 2012 at 9:44 AM
i don’t think Angelos has much say in trades outside of the financial element.
Which appears to be part of the issue with the Blanton deal. (If O’s aren’t willing to eat Blanton $, then Phils want Schoop. I’m fine with Blanton if we have to pay him + give up a low A guy. Not ok with it if you have to give up Schoop.)

Was anyone else disappointed that the America swimmer who had the 8 year rivalry with the Japanese guy, so much so as to have his winning scream as his alarm clock for those 8 years, was not even a favorite to medal in that event. And the Japanese guy was like 3rd or 4th favorite. Hansen won the bronze which was great but they built that rivalry story up like they were the only two competing for the gold in that event.

My favorite so far has been the 15-year old Lithuanian who won one of the breaststroke events. In the earlier heats, the NBC commentator said that he had never heard of her. It’s really neat to see somebody like that come from nowhere and win a medal for a country that usually isn’t known for swimming. Aren’t the Olympics great?

You are fucked then. Try vipstand.net but it could be:
Bandwidth problem
Graphics Card not updated
Change Browsers
Delete all that gay porn off your hard drive (nttawwt)
July 31st, 2012 at 10:47 AM
I restarted and that didn’t help it. I’ve not had this happen in a year of using the site on this computer.

How incredibly awesome that Lehrer had to resign over made-up quotes. His last book was hot trash that contradicted itself for 300 pages.
