Iowa Running Back De’Andre Johnson Had Two Police Incidents in Three Days
Iowa has a break between offseason workouts and fall camp. Sophomore De’Andre Johnson, a sophomore running back, seems to be making the most of it. Johnson was cited for “speeding and eluding” after police clocked him doing 60mph in a 25mph zone on a motorcycle and he declined to pull over. The incident came less than 48 hours after he was cited for “keeping a disorderly house” after police broke up a party at his house when local residents complained about the music at 11:30pm. Sounds like quite the riotous affair.
Kirk Ferentz summed up the latter incident well by asking “He didn’t sneeze too, did he?” And, really, this is Iowa under Kirk Ferentz. If his “disorderly house” doesn’t involve 30 bottles of prescription drugs and a meth-cooking roommate, the program is making strides.
Johnson had 79 yards on 18 carries last season.

At least he didn’t get a DUI or break into someones home and steal something. Oh and Women’s Volleyball is by far the best events in the Olympics.

He must live next door to a monastery. That seems awful early for a college town party. Might not even have been the loudest party in the neighborhood.
red solo cup…I tip you up…proceed to party, proceed to party…

Hey Duffy why didn’t you write anything about the Michigan football players who have been arrested this year? Are you just gonna cover other BIG 10 schools arrests?

You realize all he did was get a speeding ticket and had a party at his apartment which fits in with just about every other college student in the country.

Guess the only thing he’s good at is getting tickets and throwing parties.

Something tells me your reasoning does not include the actual sport. If that’s the case, I agree 100%.
