Matusz throws scared Bundy does not. Bundy is Clemens like. And I agree he should be throwing his cutter. Not sure what the O’s are trying to prove by not letting him. I get they want him to workout a curve but cmon let the kid throw what got him to be the No 4 pick.

There’s been too much of a knee-jerk reaction to limit young pitchers’ innings.

It’s the feeling that Tim had when he heard Vidal Sassoon died.

This bothers me. I get wanting him to focus on curve/change development but scares me that he may lose feel for pitch and never get it back.

Looked like a pretty standard curve ball to me, set up by the gas the previous pitches. Major League hitter stays in there and takes away the illusion that was anything more than a tabletop curve.

I believe his curve was graded currently as a 60, big leaguers would struggle against it if he sets up his fast and change. The O’s aren’t even letting Bundy use his best pitch this year (cutter).
