Maybe so. Regardless, the NCAA has forced Penn State to sell education and renewed integrity to prospects and their families. If you look at some of those quotes from recruits and their families, everybody seems to be saying the right things. I think this stuff coming from O’Brien will play a lot better than people are assuming.

Does a 4-star recruit want to be another forgotten face at a football factory, or part of a saving a legendary program under a proven NFL coach?

I have no ties to the school, but as an outsider, it feels like the school is embracing football to get them through the scandal…….the same thing that probably caused the cover-up in the first place. If the NCAA wanted to cause real harm, they should have shut the thing down for 3-4 years.

Freshmen [Four Years Eligibility]

I can say with certainty that for any of this class that make it to Senior Day in 4 years they will get their “toast of the town”. The alumni base will be forever grateful to whomever stays.
