Misty May-Treanor and the Rest of the US Women’s Volleyball Players Will Stick With their Bikinis

All, Olympics, Volleyball Stephen Douglas July 26th. 2012, 1:33pm

Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh will be competing for their third Olympic gold medal over the next couple weeks. They will be competing for that gold medal in their bikinis, just like the first two times they won. This is only newsworthy because this year the female Olympians have been given a choice in their attire. Not that Misty May-Treanor cares. From the New York Post:

“Treanor said she loves to compete in her skimpy, bottom-baring bikini because “what you see is what you get — there’s no airbrushing. I grew up on the beach, grew up in a bikini.”

This is especially good news for noted beach volleyball enthusiast, George W. Bush. Remember when he went to Beijing and took these photos with Treanor and Walsh in 2008? I wonder if these pictures had anything to do with W not being reelected a few months later? Hmm.
