Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis & Ryan Dempster Ate Deep Dish Pizza During the First Pitch
Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell threw out the first pitch(es) at yesterday’s Cubs – Marlins game. (The Cubs won, obviously.) Between Galifianakis’ pitch and Ferrell’s pitch, a ballgirl bring out some Chicago deep dish slices for the comedians and Cubs’ pitcher Ryan Dempster to enjoy.
It should also be noted that both Ferrell and Galifianakis both threw off the pitching rubber. Galifianakis had a decent throw and Ferrell fired it in there, possibly taking a page from George W. Bush’s playbook.
They were there to promote The Campaign. I have high hopes for this movie.

Why didn’t someone run on the field and club all three with a bat?

I wouldn’t go that far, but I sense this coming on. Ferrell plays one character. Hopefully, Galifianakis doesn’t fall into that.

I’ve got a feeling the “tech team” is Peggy from those Capital One commercials.

The Campaign has uber potential to be legendary

The Campaign had a working title called “Dogfight”. My company sold the set production people a bunch of campaign material (yard signs, posters, etc), so hopefully a lot of it will show up in the movie.

Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell
I can take these guys in 3 minute sketches and possibly reach a hearty state of laughter. Any more than that, my head approaches an explosion-like tension and I want to throw a blunt object at the screen.
