Too high. Plus, I bet Polin would be interested to find out that he is on Czaban’s radio show as opposed to vice verse reality of the Sports Reporters. Czaban should have alot of fans on here since he comes off as Joe Blog commenter, which is a lower standard than what you should have for even a talk radio host.

Don’t know where I’d put Cowherd, but he is decent.

Rome is old hat and tiring.

The LeBatard love affair from Jason is bizarre. He’s terrible on the radio.

Mike&Mike are just so passé – they had a decent odd-couple-schtick-moment about six or eight years ago for three days; but really offer nothing but whining. So tiring. I cannot abide listening to more than .03 seconds of their show.

While M&M is a radio show, they are just an extension of ESPN’s coordinated agenda setting between tv, radio and internet. It is rarely free-form, reactionary or spanning the many topics sports talk radio addresses in a single day, which not so coincidentally makes them more and more unlistenable.

I don’t find Rome interesting. I think Kornheiser ought to be #1.

Regionally, I listen to Miklasz frequently. He does a fine job covering St. Louis sports. Finebaum is solid too, if you can stomach his agenda.

What happened to JT The Brick. I used to listen to him every evening on KNBR. Then he jumped to Fox Sports radio (Tom Looney is terrible) and I lost track of him after 2004 or so. Did he burn some bridges or something?

I used to really enjoy Colin Cowherd of ESPN Radio. Now that he is ESPN’s Colin Cowherd, and I don’t like it at all. BTW, I believe the actual date that he officially sold out is October 10, 2008.

As for the local FM sports radio station in St. Louis having three shows on this list, it must be all about ratings and nothing to do with content. They apparently have better ratings due to the FM signal, but only the local paper can confirm that, and most of the paper’s staff works for the radio station.

NONE of those three shows can hold a candle to the afternoon drive show on the longtime AM station hosted by Kevin Slaten.

Men in Blazers is a great podcast.
Bob and Dan on the Ticket (DFW). Still listen to them even though I’m not there. Their Gay/Not Gay segment is pretty prettay good.

I listened to Francesa during super bowl week, that was all I could handle.

Totally over Patrick. Tired of his being petty over ESPN. He likes to make contrarian picks and they say “I told you so!”. Don’t like the producers either.

I’m over Rome cause I’m not 19 anymore. Whoever said local hosts are mini-cowherds, they are actually mini-romes

I don’t have a problem with Missanelli and will listen to him along with Mayes/Bruno. Its better when the Phillies/Eagles stink. Same reason why I listen to quite a bit of WEEI, cause the sox suck and the patriots lost the super bowl.

I love Kornheisers show, but that’s not sports
