Talkers Magazine Ranked the Top 100 Sports Radio Shows, and Mike Francesa Was No. 1
Talkers Magazine ranked the Top 100 Sports Radio Shows, and the list is a) very white, b) very male dominated, c) former athlete-driven and d) crazy, as most lists are. A few highlights, with my pithy commentary:
1. Francesa
2. Jim Rome
3. Dan Patrick
4. Boomer & Carton – I listen to these guys for about seven minutes every other day on the way to Starbucks. They’re terrible. How bad? I actually find myself switching to Mike & Mike.
6. Mike & Mike – Best when they’re replaced by guys like Todd McShay, Mel Kiper and Jay Bilas.
7. Dennis & Callahan
8. Tony Kornheiser
13. Dan LeBatard – Seems low.
14. Mike Missanelli – Philly radio host who is often a brutal listen because he completely ignores college football and college hoops, and when he chimes in, he’s woefully informed. Big 5! Penn State! Wake up, Mike!
18. Mason & Ireland – Always good for quality Lakers chatter.
22. Colin Cowherd – Perfect opportunity to plug the feature story we wrote about him earlier this year.
39. Chris Russo – I haven’t listened to this gasbag since he left Francesa. I do enjoy a solid rant from this guy, though.
41. Paul Finebaum – The South swears by him, but do sports fans in any other area of the country know him?
54. Bernie Miklasz – So he’s a columnist and has a successful radio show? Impressive.
71. John Canzano – Another columnist-radio show guy hybrid.
77. Arrington and Dukes – I know those guys! DC represent.
96. Czaban and Pollin – Lots of Czaban fans visit this website.

No idea who almost any of these guys are but awesome to see Cowherd not near the top.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:14 PM
Never listened to a second of Francesa, so I can’t say anything. Heard enough of Rome and his tired shtick to want to punch a grandma or small child – whoever is closest. Dan Patrick is the tops in the book of NDub. Only show I listen to.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:14 PM
Dennis and Callahan deserve to be nowhere near the top 100, nonetheless top 10. They’re terrible and only talk sports roughly 70% of the time. They’re more interested in talking down to callers. They’ve been getting killed in the ratings since Sports Hub began, and deservedly so. Completely out of touch with market.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:14 PM
Dan Patrick has the best national show AINEC. Locally, Valenti and Foster.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:15 PM
I hardly ever listen to sportstalk unless I’m having trouble finding a decent song to listen to on the radio.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:15 PM
It’s a joke that Cowherd is not top 5. He’s arguably the most influential radio host in the country (don’t believe me? There are mini-Cowherd’s in every market now). This list also includes someone pretty high up who literally just started a new show less than a month ago. Also, Steve Czaban in the 90′s is the biggest joke on this list.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:16 PM
I am surprised sports radio shows are still around.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:16 PM
They f*ckin blow. 5 hours of negative drivel.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:17 PM
Someone want to tell me how I could be posting comments too quickly in my first post of the day?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:17 PM
The link to entire list doesn’t even work. Garbage.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:17 PM
1. Francesa
2. Jim Rome
Invalid list.
Fix Your Site, Jason.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:18 PM
St. Bear – you aren’t alone. Happened to me, happened to others all day. Poor Mushmouth Gallagher thinks he’s banned.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:19 PM
… I think TBL just Cowherd’d the Talkers server, can’t get it to load.
Trying to see where Mark Madden’s fat ass is on the list.
Second attempt at posting: site is trying to load now, would appear there’s a banner image for each of the 100, judging by how horribly this list is put together from a browsing standpoint I’m guessing it’s a FSV venture.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:19 PM
good get.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:20 PM
All 3 of the shows they list for PGH are unbearably bad.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:20 PM
Thanks NDub, I thought it was a compliment to my typing skills.
This list speaks more to how terrible sports radio is, and not how good Francesca is.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:21 PM
Mike & Mike at 6? Czaban at 96? Wtf?
/I enjoy Finebaum’s show
July 16th, 2012 at 1:21 PM
Can’t get to the full list, but curious if Pete Prisco is on it. He does great show out of Jacksonville. Always has fellow national and regional sports scribes on, chatting like they are in the chow line at a sporting event.
So much better insights than the jokes down the dial.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:22 PM
His show on Sirius is a nice alternative to Gottlieb on ESPN Radio.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:22 PM
Where are PMS ranked on this bitch?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:23 PM
No “Nick and Artie Show?”
July 16th, 2012 at 1:23 PM
Can’t get to the full list
Give it a minute. It’ll load. And you’ll find out 90% of the best sports talk shows are in the Northeast.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:23 PM
There’s some guy on FoxSports that is syndicated or some shit on the local station I hear while flipping through. He’s got to be the worst. The worst.
Mike North… I think?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:25 PM
I like listening to Dan Patrick. But I can definitely see why ESPN let him go. Egotistical as hell. During PTI’s 10 year anniversary, ESPN let Wilbon go to Patrick’s radio show. Leading up to the interview, it seemed like all week long, Patrick kept pointing out how Wilbon came to HIM to go to upper management to lobby for the analyst job at NBA show. Must’ve pointed this out at least 10 times.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:25 PM
It does stand to reason that a higher % of shows are in the areas with the most people.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:25 PM
Im a Boomer and carton fan, I believe they get better ratings than Mike Francesa, who I can’t stand, so it’s all about taste, I guess.
B&C are sports (mostly NY, cause that’s where they are from) page 6/pop culture and other fun topics…kinda like a blog I read…
July 16th, 2012 at 1:26 PM
THE WORST. The Chicago guy right?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:26 PM
There’s twice as many as there were 10 years ago. CBS and NBC are starting their own Networks
July 16th, 2012 at 1:27 PM
they’re human scum. disgusting people who should both be liquidated.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:27 PM
Nashville’s Howard/Wycheck/Ingram pairing is on there, too. That could be pretty painful at times, but I think it’s gotten better. Guys like Wycheck who aren’t radio guys take a while to figure it out.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:27 PM
I would love to listen to that show.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:28 PM
That actually sounds fantastic
July 16th, 2012 at 1:29 PM
Cheap to make and have a built in reservoir of topics (callers).
A well done show, on the other hand….
July 16th, 2012 at 1:29 PM
That list finally loaded. Valenti and Foster came in at 5. Eat shit Mike and Mike!
July 16th, 2012 at 1:30 PM
I like listening to Dan Patrick. But I can definitely see why ESPN let him go. Egotistical as hell.
Totally agree. So tired of hearing him say, “Mothership” every single show. It’s like he can’t get over the relationship.
Plus his self promotional, “I told you this would happen” schtick is stale.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:30 PM
I’m starting to think this is part of the plan and J-Mac’s first step to finally napalming the current crop of commenters and starting over
July 16th, 2012 at 1:31 PM
Me, too, for some reason. They’re supposed to get a show on Fox Sports and/or DirectTV ala Dan Patrick (who produces them).
July 16th, 2012 at 1:32 PM
And you’ll find out 90% of the best sports talk shows are in the Northeast.
It does stand to reason that a higher % of shows are in the areas with the most people.
Well, there is one listenable show out of three sports stations in Kansas City. And it isn’t Bob Fescoe who is laughably included on that list.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:32 PM
Dan Cole, #52 — see picture
July 16th, 2012 at 1:32 PM
Mike & Mike – not insightful, not funny, say nothing to spark conversation. It’s an ABC prime-time show from the 80′s. It’s like Family Matters or Full House or something. Vanilla nonsense.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:32 PM
Being from Atlanta, there’s this show called 2 Live Stews hosted by two brothers. It’s fascinating to see how their career has ebbed and flowed in this market. Started as weekend afternoon show. Moved to Weeknights, Mid-day, Drive time, back to mid-day, and now got their hours cut. Oh, in between that time, gained and lost the national syndication deal. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer pair of fellas. Racial trolling these two do has to be heard to be believed.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:32 PM
39. Chris Russo – I haven’t listened to this gasbag since he left Francesa. I do enjoy a solid rant from this guy, though.
Russo is great. I never would have heard about him had he not gone to Sirius/XM
July 16th, 2012 at 1:33 PM
Chad Dukes of “Arrington & Dukes” was great when paired with his old co-host Oscar. Lavar Arrington does not have a grasp of the English language and takes 5 minutes of semi-intelligible, marble-mouthed rambling to express what could have been said in one or two coherent sentences. That said, I check it out for a few mins each day on my afternoon commute until Lavar gets too annoying and I have to punt.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:33 PM
This amazes me…you know more about the industry…are more people streaming/downloading these programs?
Radio is terrible quality (satellite is good)…and it just seems that people have so many different options now.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:33 PM
Kaiser, 2 Live Stews were regular contributors to First Take and had a deal with ESPN as well. Not shocking.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:33 PM
He’s been writing features for SI for the past year during CFB season. He’s found his niche (pissing off SEC football fans) and does it very well. He can talk CFB all year round which you cant do anywhere else.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:34 PM
Fix yo commenting
July 16th, 2012 at 1:35 PM
I don’t like Missanelli, but he’s a brutal listen because he’s a jackass in general. Your criticism vis a vis college hoops and football is misplaced and stupid. If he started talking about that on a regular basis, he’d be fired. Philadelphia sports talk radio listeners don’t give a fuck about those sports for the most part. This a pro city, period.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:36 PM
Also Cowherd is 100x more compelling than M&M or Van Pelt. And while I enjoyed Rome as a college kid 12 years ago, his act has gotten kinda lame.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:36 PM
Im a Boomer and carton fan
they’re human scum. disgusting people who should both be liquidated.
It’s interesting to listen to a 50 year old wanna be Ranger (his hockey exploits are the worst) and a 40 year old Jewish guy pretend to be a tough NY Italian goombah. Can’t stand those 2.
Francesa’s alright. Retarded at times, but fairly entertaining.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:36 PM
The Common Man and Torg out of Columbus, Ohio are probably not in the top 1000
/Mostly Torg’s fault
July 16th, 2012 at 1:36 PM
Lavar is an idiot. Dukes is ok, but he like so many others in this area are completely dumb when it comes to the NFL. They know Redskins and NFC East, but outside that and they are exposed for how ignorant they are.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:37 PM
Hmmm, I thought they were the same…
July 16th, 2012 at 1:37 PM
Agreed. The talk show hosts in Buffalo talk hockey in July. Probably the only US market where you can pull that off. Know your audience. I interned at a cable sports network in college, they had a CFB segment on one of their call-in shows and couldnt get a single person to call.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:38 PM
C-bus just won’t take to some Minneeesooota jacks ass talking about hockey.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:40 PM
The link isnt working for me, where is SVP on the list? That show is the only one on ESPN I can listen to and not want to pull my hair out.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:41 PM
Actually reminds me of TBL in some ways. 1/3 sports (more like 1/5), 1/3 pop culture and 1/3 about their life experiences
July 16th, 2012 at 1:41 PM
if TBL was a radio show, the calls would get dropped with regularity and the regular callers that actually made it through would be chided and scorned by the host.
Jason, get a better phone service.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:42 PM
These guys are the worst. As is the Loose Cannons. Only quality radio shows out of LA are Petros and Money (I think they were in the 30′s) and Max [Kellerman] and Marcellus [Wiley] have grown on me (they were in the bottom).
/I know people hate on Sports talk but I love radio.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:42 PM
Jason even says it in the lede, but this list is kinda non-sensical. I find it hard to believe the people putting it together listened to all these shows, but more read reviews of them instead and listened to some. That, and there’s no criteria listed for which they were evaluated.
I’m guessing outrageous nature is one of those criteria though since they have Dan McNeil and his sidekick along with Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein ahead of the shows on ESPN’s dial in Chicago. B&B amaze me that they still have listeners. They treat their callers like second class citizens. Some of them are, for sure, but why you’d call in to be disagreed with and then hung-up on I’m not sure. Seems like a waste of time.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:43 PM
I think that is the nature of sports talk radio though. Just play devils advocate with your callers. I don’t think I ever heard either one of these guys agree with one think a caller says.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:43 PM
Down here in Atlanta, it’s college football 24/7/365. It truly is the capitol of college football. Don’t give two hoots about pro game, but boy do they love college football.
Okay, I usually don’t complain about the EIC, but this is getting ridiculous. Someone seriously needs to fix this comments not posting thing. It’s getting on my last nerve.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:44 PM
/Cold Call Everydays
July 16th, 2012 at 1:45 PM
This is how I feel about Mike as well. The Mongos that call in are some of the best parts of the show. Surprisingly, Francesa is a very solid interviewer. He gets the high-profile guests that Mike and Mike get but his line of questioning is a bit more candid than the little Jewish metro and the one guy who did steroids during his 6 year NFL career.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:46 PM
I’m telling you, it’s crazy what has happened to them. Now they don’t even have their own show. They are sharing it with two other more popular guys.
http://blogs.ajc.com/radio-tv-talk/2012/05/02/790the-zone-creates-the-red-zone-merging-the-stews-with-barnhart-and-durham/
July 16th, 2012 at 1:47 PM
Can you blame them though ? People who call into shows are pretty stupid for the most part. “Hey let’s trade DJ Mbenga for Dwyane Wade!” The best shows are the shows that take the fewest calls.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:48 PM
JT The Brick, Hacksaw, and Steak are actual names on that list.
Viva la sports radio
/kills self
July 16th, 2012 at 1:50 PM
Wait, SVP isnt even on the list? How is this possible?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:50 PM
Cowherd is constipating but he’s not compelling, unless you think broad strokes of the socioeconomic brush and other generalizations are compelling.
The only think i dont like about dan patrick is his bromance with adam sandler.
JMac doesnt like Boomer and Carton because they aren’t sterile and safe like ESPN radio.
Lebatard should be top 5.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:50 PM
41. Paul Finebaum – The South swears by him, but do sports fans in any other area of the country know him?
Correction: Alabama fans swear by him. The rest of the South despises him.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:52 PM
Im glad JT the brick is on at 1AM eastern. More opportunity for me not to hear him. Awful
July 16th, 2012 at 1:52 PM
I thought radio would struggle with advent of internet in cars (I can stream any shows in the country in most places at any time now), but as long as they can find sponsors, it’ll always be around. When sponsors stop seeing their partnerships with talk radio as being effective, then it will end.
The CBS and NBC stuff is intriguing. They want to use radio to push other platforms..which is why Gottlieb makes sense.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:53 PM
Wait, SVP isnt even on the list? How is this possible?
CJ is going to cut herself.
Fix Your Site, Jason.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:53 PM
I like Czaban’s national show on yahoo sports radio more than his local afternoon show in D.C. As much as I like Chad Dukes from his FM talk days, his sports show with Lavar is garbage, mostly due to Lavar.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:53 PM
He only does 2 hours. Is out a lot of the year. I enjoy his show though. The interview that he and Russilo did with Jeter last week was great.
SVP: “You’ve been pretty steady in your career with radio interviews. Usually give the same answers, as most guys do, but it’s harder in New York.”
DJ: “Well, when you guys start asking different questions, I’ll give different answers. It’s generally the same questions on most shows.”
Russilo: “Least favorite teammate in the last 15 years?”
DJ: [laughs] “Yeah, you know I’m not going there.”
SVP: “How does it feel to be the old man on the All-Star team where some of these guys may have idolized you?”
DJ: “I brought this on myself, I see. And Chipper Jones is 40, let’s not go calling me the old man yet.”
Paraphrased, but you guys get the gist.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:54 PM
Fuck radio though. Podcast is where it’s at. My top 3 would be:
1. Firewall and Iceberg
2. The B.S. Report (ducks tomatoes thrown by commentariat)
3. Guardian Football Weekly
July 16th, 2012 at 1:54 PM
Email him email him email him.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:55 PM
This Bama fan doesn’t. I can’t stand to listen to his show for more that 5 minutes.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:55 PM
96. Czaban and Pollin
remove pollin and that number bumps up significantly.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:55 PM
I thought it was 1-4?
July 16th, 2012 at 1:56 PM
Norm Hitzges is the best on that list and he’s stuck way down at 80.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:56 PM
SC,
Van pelt does 3 hours (1-4 eastern). ESPN 1000 in chicago may only air 2 of them.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:58 PM
Kornheiser is great because he just gives a big FU to his management and the standard ESPN radio model. He doesnt always talk about sports, doesn’t take calls, and talks about whatever he wants.
July 16th, 2012 at 1:59 PM
Stuff you Should Know is up there for me; agree on the 1st two. I also enjoy the freakanomics podcast as well
July 16th, 2012 at 2:00 PM
Who the F cares if there are people on the list who are white?! That’s a very racist observation.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:02 PM
Is Steve Somers on the list? That guy is the man for late night rides home. Best voice in the biz.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:02 PM
is the Tony K show even considered sports? while i like the show, it rarely ever solely focuses on sports or anything related to sports for that matter.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:02 PM
WHITE POWER
July 16th, 2012 at 2:05 PM
The South does not swear by Paul Finebaum.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:06 PM
Lorenzo, the schmooz is legend. When i worked nights, i could catch the 660 signal up in rochester.
Ill, not necessarily but it is on espn980. For someone who has never lived in the d.c. Area, i know way too much about the radio there
July 16th, 2012 at 2:06 PM
Is Steve Somers on the list? That guy is the man for late night rides home. Best voice in the biz.
Yes. 60something I think.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:07 PM
Paul Finebaum is the worst
July 16th, 2012 at 2:12 PM
No Tim Brando? Another southern-based show that focuses on college football throughout the year, but still gets quality guests from all sports.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:14 PM
Unfortunately, Francesca also likes to answer his own questions, and have the guest agree with him.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:15 PM
scott ferell and it’s not close
if you like meatball listens
/only know from the late 90s/early 00s
July 16th, 2012 at 2:15 PM
Holy hell that is one ugly ass list! No wonder it took forever to load, that is just too much ugly to load in less than 5 minutes! Where the fuck was Handsome Dan?
July 16th, 2012 at 2:27 PM
Wish I could get that list to load on my phone
A few points from what has already been discussed:
- the stews’ national show was on Sporting News Radio (now Yahoo Sports Radio) and they got dropped in favor of Sean Pendergast, who was dropped in favor of Craig Shemon.
- Mike North does indeed suck, as does most of the talent on Fox Sports Radio. Their decline started when hey dropped Czaban in favor of Stephen A Smith.
- Not sure where CBS and NBC are going to find talent because it’s really slim pickings to find solid people to host these days.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:30 PM
Nope. not even close.
that’s like saying John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman are the best announcing team b/c they are in NYC, which has to be the only way Francesa is tops on this list.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:34 PM
How the “Loose cannons” are at #12 is beyond me. They are terrible. Petros and Money blow them out of the water
July 16th, 2012 at 2:35 PM
Being from Atlanta, there’s this show called 2 Live Stews hosted by two brothers.
Nailed it – every word. Stews can be interesting one in a hundred shows, but for the most part, they make my ears bleed.
Atlanta sports talk has to be the worst of any “major” city. HORRIBLE.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:37 PM
Holy hell that is one ugly ass list!
I thought the same thing – no wonder they’re all in radio.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:37 PM
new york. each one of the 10 million mouthbreathing little snowflakes that call in are such unique intellectuals with a fresh, informed take.
liquidation.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:41 PM
i’m really surprised the Mets haven’t scooped up one of those MENSA members after hearing their trade ideas on the sports talk radio shows.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:43 PM
That guy next to Lavar Arrington….I turned lesbian for a split second
July 16th, 2012 at 2:43 PM
I listened to Francesa during super bowl week, that was all I could handle.
Totally over Patrick. Tired of his being petty over ESPN. He likes to make contrarian picks and they say “I told you so!”. Don’t like the producers either.
I’m over Rome cause I’m not 19 anymore. Whoever said local hosts are mini-cowherds, they are actually mini-romes
I don’t have a problem with Missanelli and will listen to him along with Mayes/Bruno. Its better when the Phillies/Eagles stink. Same reason why I listen to quite a bit of WEEI, cause the sox suck and the patriots lost the super bowl.
I love Kornheisers show, but that’s not sports
July 16th, 2012 at 2:44 PM
CJ, some people are made for radio, some for tv.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:51 PM
I think I figured out why that is. Czabe was doing snark way before the blogs thought it was cool to do snark. The guy somehow manages to rip on Michelle Wie once a week funny every single time. He’s hysterical. His ripping on Mike and Mike never gets old either.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:53 PM
new york. each one of the 10 million …
Any one, from any city, that calls any radio/TV show is an idiot. I was referring to the hosts and format.
July 16th, 2012 at 2:55 PM
That guy next to Lavar Arrington….I turned lesbian for a split secon
I’d love to hear your reaction to “The Hawk”
(I think that’s his name – I don’t have the patience to hit that crap page and wait for it to load again.)
July 16th, 2012 at 2:56 PM
Men in Blazers is a great podcast.
Bob and Dan on the Ticket (DFW). Still listen to them even though I’m not there. Their Gay/Not Gay segment is pretty prettay good.
July 16th, 2012 at 3:10 PM
PMS is great radio and Petros could do it alone and perhaps be even better. Loose Cannons and Mason and Ireland are icepick in my ears terrible. Why is Vick the Brick on the radio?
SVP should be in top 10.
July 16th, 2012 at 3:20 PM
Kornheiser SO much better on the radio…no contest with PTI Tony….
July 16th, 2012 at 3:37 PM
I used to really enjoy Colin Cowherd of ESPN Radio. Now that he is ESPN’s Colin Cowherd, and I don’t like it at all. BTW, I believe the actual date that he officially sold out is October 10, 2008.
As for the local FM sports radio station in St. Louis having three shows on this list, it must be all about ratings and nothing to do with content. They apparently have better ratings due to the FM signal, but only the local paper can confirm that, and most of the paper’s staff works for the radio station.
NONE of those three shows can hold a candle to the afternoon drive show on the longtime AM station hosted by Kevin Slaten.

F-Bomb has a pretty solid SEC listener base, but woe to the fan of another conference who calls in. The rest of that day’s show is committed to “proving” why the SEC is better.

PTI Kornheiser is so-so, his current radio persona is also so-so. His old internet show, that blows away anything on this list.

Rome should be #1.
What happened to JT The Brick. I used to listen to him every evening on KNBR. Then he jumped to Fox Sports radio (Tom Looney is terrible) and I lost track of him after 2004 or so. Did he burn some bridges or something?

I don’t find Rome interesting. I think Kornheiser ought to be #1.
Regionally, I listen to Miklasz frequently. He does a fine job covering St. Louis sports. Finebaum is solid too, if you can stomach his agenda.

While M&M is a radio show, they are just an extension of ESPN’s coordinated agenda setting between tv, radio and internet. It is rarely free-form, reactionary or spanning the many topics sports talk radio addresses in a single day, which not so coincidentally makes them more and more unlistenable.

Tony Kornheiser. That’s it. That’s the list.

Sports radio – Dan Patrick is #1. Overall? TK is #1.
1. Dan Patrick
2. Kornheiser
Don’t know where I’d put Cowherd, but he is decent.
Rome is old hat and tiring.
The LeBatard love affair from Jason is bizarre. He’s terrible on the radio.
Mike&Mike are just so passé – they had a decent odd-couple-schtick-moment about six or eight years ago for three days; but really offer nothing but whining. So tiring. I cannot abide listening to more than .03 seconds of their show.

J T The brick is the biggest douchebag in radio history, screaming into the mic is not a take, Tom Looney is just a joke, Give me Bruno, Rome and Patrick all day long, Jt is just a douche

Think Francesa’s top seed will be threatened if he keeps getting crank callers to his show?

Too high. Plus, I bet Polin would be interested to find out that he is on Czaban’s radio show as opposed to vice verse reality of the Sports Reporters. Czaban should have alot of fans on here since he comes off as Joe Blog commenter, which is a lower standard than what you should have for even a talk radio host.
