I am pretty sure The Game will be there as well which cracks me up. I also think tech n9ne is going to be there again and he puts on a great show. Never really listened to him before that concert, but he made me and all my friends fans after his performance. The worst part about the gathering is if it is hot out, there is really no where to go to stay cool unless you have an RV.

same for me living in IL. then i realized it’s $150/ticket per day and like $100 to park your car and sleep in it. yet i took the time to look it all up.

It’s $175 for each 5 day ticket. That 5 day combo is for 5 people to go all five days. Had to check it out after your post. The most amazing part was that they were sold out of the $400 tickets…

i read the story that KC Res pointed me to about this that Deadspin did. i suppose it’s exactly what i assumed this thing would be like.

finally, something with less credibility and stability than the wrestling business

check that. this event includes a JCW Wrestling event with some names like Matt Hardy included. That plus the “drug bridge” makes this seem like what Hamsterdam looked like on The Wire.

I actually went to The gathering a few years ago. It was when Tila Tequila got a bunch of stuff thrown at her. Definitely was an interesting experience(drug bridge, people tripping,random celebrities) and everyone is pretty wasted. I was surprised how clean the event was and how nothing got damaged until the last night.

On October 18, 2010, the cable network TV One's aired Unsung: The Story of The Fat Boys, and mentioned that the two surviving members have reunited, and are currently touring with Doug E. Fresh, temporarily filling in for the 'HumanBeatbox.' There has been no confirmation if he is the new third permanent member.I feel like I'm reliving my late 80s youth.
