FFP is completely toothless for teams that have owners and corrupt city governments which can juke the numbers. It means absolutely nothing in the end.

Not sure if it’s related to FFP, but there does seem to be less spending as of late among regular, non oil funded clubs. They can get around the restrictions by spending a ton right now, and growing the club to become rapidly popular by the time the regulations supposedly are at their strongest, which is several years away.

I know, it’s terrible when they get on TV (only to get throttled by the bigger club being showcased that week) and you see so many empty seats. Going to Ireland next summer and will take a ferry over to catch a game, pretty certain that I’ll find a loose ticket but not so certain they’ll be in the EPL. ALthough keeping Martinez is nice and I actually like them signing this kid from Aberdeen. If we can cash in on or keep Moses, they can stay up.

It know falls on UEFA to make FFP the stick they’ve threatened it would be. If it is, then the PSGs and Man Citys will be curtailed and some sanity can be restored to the game.
