You can always take your clubs to a golfsmith and make them 2-3 degrees stronger. Cost $10-15 a club generally.

i wouldn’t call it silly…im just of the opinion that it’s easier to take loft off a club at impact than it is to add. the number on the bottom of a club is just a number for ID…a shot’s a shot.

yesterday i hit four 7i’s. one was short from 165 (uphill), one was pin high 190 (downhill), missed long twice at 175 (neither up or downhill enough to make much difference).

i think you’d get more benefit on par 4′s out of getting longer and more accurate with your driver than hitting your irons longer. short game means more on long par 4′s anyways since they’re designed to be true 4-shotters.

I’ve decided to get the Mizuno JPX-800 or just keep my MP-32′s. I just wish I had more distance. It’s tough for me to hit an 8i 160 with those blades, otherwise I’d keep the ones I have.

probably because that 8i blade has 2-3 degrees more loft than a CB 8i.
