Greg Reid, Florida State Cornerback, Arrested for Possession of Marijuana

Greg Reid, Florida State’s talented cornerback who could have an NFL future, was arrested Tuesday night in Georgia and charged with “driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana” according to WCTV.

The arrest is Reid’s 2nd in the last 10 months. Who can forget his September arrest when he lied to police about a friend who had borrowed his scooter? It’ll be curious to see whether Jumbo* Fisher keeps Reid around – he returns punts, too – or cuts him loose. Perhaps Reid will be this year’s version of Oregon’s talented but troubled Cliff Harris?

According to this depth chart, Reid is listed not only as a starter at cornerback, but also the No. 1 kick and punt returner on the team.

Reid is a stud KR/PR guy. I think he’s a bit overrated as a corner, but he’s still a good college DB. With this being his second arrest, I’d guess he sits for 2 or more games.
