Roger Federer Wins Seventh Wimbledon Title Over Andy Murray
Roger Federer followed up his semifinal victory over Novak Djokovic by handling British fan favorite Andy Murray in four sets for his seventh Wimbledon title.
Murray started off the match strong, taking the first set 6-4. The key moment was in the second set, when Murray fought back after being broken, and missed a backhand on a breakpoint at 4-4 that could have made him a heavy favorite to go up 2 sets to none. Instead, it was Federer who broke Murray to win the second set 7-5, and then go on to win the last two sets in dominant Federer fashion.
Roger Federer has now tied Pete Sampras for the most Wimbledon titles of all-time, and has also regained the #1 ranking in the world.

I though Fed was done at Wimbledon, I was way wrong, obviously. I think I am done doubting him as the all-time great. Sampras bows before him.
