Danica Patrick Wrecked At Daytona Again

Danica Patrick wasn’t doing horrible last night, but she still drove her car into a wall during the Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona. She was doing so well when she wrecked, that she might have been able to actually win. Unfortunately, wall.Via ESPN:

She had led five times for 13 laps and was running sixth on Lap 83 of 100, searching for another draft partner to spirit her back to the front and, perhaps, to the first national series NASCAR win by a female in the sport’s history.

So, is she clutch? I guess the important thing is that everyone talks about the Go Daddy car.

Where’s all the Tiger backers this morning? Having missed the cut for only the 9th time in his career, I thought there would be some talk about this.

Of course after winning at Congressional last week, I thought some were saying he was “back”.

/In other woman driving related news, my wife scrapped the entire side of our car against a concrete pillar last night pulling out of a parking spot. Hilarity does not ensue.

No offense to any writers but NASCAR isn’t worth writing about if all you’re going to do post on is Danica Patrick. She’s simply not good and she’s in the “minor leagues” of NASCAR. She only has a ride because she’s a sponsorship’s dream.

Of course after winning at Congressional last week, I thought some were saying he was “back”.

I’m definitely not a Tiger backer and I’m still not really sure what “back” even means. But, despite missing the cut at the Greenbrier, I still think he is the favorite prett much whenever he tees it up. He’s definitely less consistent than any other time in his career. But, unlike this time last year or the year before, he is a threat to win any time he tees it up. It seems though that he is also a threat to miss the cut or play miserably on the weekend.
