Toronto Raptors NBA Draft Surprise: Terrence Ross 8th Overall
Terrence Ross of Washington is a good shooter. But the 8th overall pick? Seems like a reach, but hey, the Raptors are a shitty franchise, and that’s what bad franchises do. The Raptors passed on UConn big man Andre Drummond, who fell to 9th. Toronto passed because they had big man Jonas Valanciunas stashed overseas. Toronto could have also gone with Austin Rivers of Duke, but the ESPN Draft team said the goal is to get Steve Nash this summer. Good luck. See you in the lottery next year!
9. Detroit, Andre Drummond
10. New Orleans, Austin Rivers
11. Portland, Meyers Leonard
12. Houston, Jeremy Lamb
13. Phoenix, Kendall Marshall
