Michael Jordan Draft Struggles End: Bobcats Take Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Michael Jordan has had a series of NBA draft blunders as an NBA executive, but he finally seems to have gotten one right – the Bobcats just drafted Kentucky wing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 2nd overall. I see plenty of Scottie Pippen in the tireless MKG.
1. New Orleans, Anthony Davis
2. Charlotte, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
3. Washington, Brad Beal

If he doesn’t get traded his career is over before it started. Worst franchise in sports. YES COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS I KNOW YOU EXIST.

I think CHAR bitched out here. THey had an offer of essentially 4-24 for 2. They could of had MKG at 4. They chose to not accept the gift of 24 for the 10% chance MKG was gone at 4. Clowns.
MKG is a very nice player but I’d be suprised if he’s ever better than an avg shooter. Players can go from poor-to-avg, avg-to-good, good-to-great but rarely make huge leaps in their shooting. That form he has is heinous. Maybe he’ll have a Shawn Marion career of making shots while looking bad.
I like the kid, nothing against him. I think CHAR flunked out here.

Moved from Columbus to Charlotte the year the Bobcats came into existence. Which team should I curse next?

Yeah when I saw Syracuse never considered anyone being close to a first round pick. Blaine Gabbert pick.

This just in: Kidd-Gilchrist breaks femur playing Wii before ever stepping on NBA court.
/just looking ahead at possible outcomes before making “sure-thing” comments

Chris Grant didnt even bring in Waiters for an evaluation. That’s why you bring in guys, to check their personality and downside. It’s not like a top-3 team was gonna take him Grant you fuckface. damn.
Could be a good pick, but there’s something odd about all this.
