Agreed. The thing I had been thinking about is the quicker pay-down gets you above water sooner at which point you can sell the house if you need to or want to. We may want to move in 5-10 years so that would be nice.

However, at some point you will pay it down where PMI and the interest itself can either not be written off (PMI) or you start to lose money (loan interest).

PMI is no longer tax deductible. Most lenders offer to roll the PMI into your loan at a 1/8 of a point higher rate. It actually makes your monthly payments less than regular PMI and more for a tax write off. It makes complete sense to do it this way, unless you plan on staying in the house for over 10 years.

Yep. I used to buy my own raw peanuts and roast them myself and would clean them too. But the shell is full of vitamins and fiber.

so do you just not watch TV? I will admit to not seeing some of those that you listed, but Shawshank, A few Good Men and Good Fellas are on continuous loop on F/X and Bravo.

I watch a lot of TV. But sports, military history, nature shows, and science related documentaries take up most of my viewing hours. I am pretty much caught up on all the new shows and movies that are worth watching. It’s the old stuff that I haven’t had the chance to see yet.

If it didn’t have narration, it’d be one of the best movies ever.
