The Wade for Williams trade sounds about the best thing the Nets could do if they can’t resign the guy. I would be worried about Wade’s attitude and age if I were the Nets though.

Would the Nets do that deal if the Heat were to throw in Chalmers too? I know Mario is kind of a Heat whipping boy but he does show flashes of being an effective PG, and he’s only 25. Nets could probably lock him up to a longish deal for not terrible money if they wanted.

Yeah, but…maybe (maybe) some of the Lakers’ leftovers would be better than what the Nets presently have. It’s not like the Nets are the deepest team in the league.
