Josh Hamilton’s Life to Become a Movie Written and Directed by Casey Affleck

To be kind, Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers has a very interesting life. That’s why it is no surprise that a movie will be made about his life. Thunder Road Pictures secured the rights to Hamilton’s life story. Casey Affleck has been attached to write and direct the movie.
Hamilton, a prized baseball prospect, was involved in a car accident in 2001 and while recovering from the wreck, became addicted to drugs and alcohol. Hamilton went to rehab for the first time in 2001, but drug problems kept him out of baseball for years. At some point, Hamilton found God and his wife, Katie. A former #1 draft pick, Hamilton turned into an MVP and 4-time All-Star.
Channing Tatum will be the obvious choice to play Hamilton. With Magic Mike coming out next weekend, he has the requisite onscreen experience of being shirtless in a bar. The question of casting his wife is not as easy. You have to find a young actress willing to go bleached blonde who hasn’t already shared the screen with Tatum. The hair color screams Anna Faris, but I think they should go with a more seasoned dramatic actress like Rachel McAdams. The couple from The Vow should be able to recreate a love strong enough to stop addiction.

At the premiere of this movie, Hamilton will no doubt throw a kiss to some fan perched atop the bleachers, and she will tumble down to her death trying to catch it.
/ Too soon?

Ok, his wife was pregnant. have you ever SEEN HER? She can’t possibly weigh more than 90lbs! She is very thin! You should look at Hamilton’s twitter @thejoshhamilton and see his profile picture. THEN think about who should play her in a movie.
