“I’d rather shower at Penn State than support Alabama” is Somehow a T-Shirt
All, College Football June 22nd. 2012, 12:50pm
While funny, it does contain a glaring grammatical error – it should be “than” instead of “then” – that obviously cheapens someone’s creative endeavor. Would you go in public wearing a t-shirt with a mistake like that? I mean, outside of the South, of course. [via @SportsLawGuy]

Ewww, but c’est la vie.

i’m surprised the NCAA merchandise team would make this kind of glaring typo. for shame.
at least it’s sexual assault victims they are screwing and not their student athletes with this one…
/yes. sarcasm tag.

grammatical error > poor sentence structure > excessive commas

Historcial T-Shirt

I laughed out loud.

Never EVER use double quotes inside a double quotes. Your headline should read “’I’d rather shower at Penn State than support Alabama’ is Somehow a T-Shirt.”
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:02 PM
only if you’re under 12 years old.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:03 PM
The shirt, the mistake, having the sac to take it public … it’s all hilarious.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:05 PM
Wouldn’t it all come to the thread count and mesh of the t-shirt?
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:07 PM
I know when I was at PSU people sold the standard variety “mascot fucking another mascot in the ass” shirts. The ND one was of course the Nittany Lion fucking the leprechaun in the ass with a bulbous veiny cock.
The garden variety meathead PSU fans that wore them probably don’t have enough tact to not wear them anymore, though.

I don’t know…I know an EIC of a fairly prominent blog that seemingly wouldn’t mind.

I want Scripty and Ben to have their own talk show.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:11 PM
You know Tommy Craggs from Deadspin?
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:12 PM
SROD how was the show? Women throwing panties up at your son on stage?
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:13 PM
It was classy of him to replace an image of Auschwitz with the PSU logo.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:14 PM
Law-talkin’ guys, we supposed to read anything in the jury still deliberating?
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:15 PM
Beats me, I’d been lead to believe from a law dabbler that the jury ordering dinner last night meant the trial was over.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:16 PM
There were like 46 accounts. They have to discuss each one. That alone should take awhile, no?
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:16 PM
I read they just got done getting through rewatching Mcqueary’s testimony a little bit ago
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:22 PM
especially if there’s that 1 juror who doesn’t agree with the other 11 on a specific account.

Really, Jason? You of all people… Duffy doesn’t know the difference between ‘affect’ and ‘effect’, and I’ve given up trying to point out the errors in your posts.

I always assume these things have to be gag gifts, but the whole lowest common denominator thing will probably net this guy a profit.
Let’s not pretend you wouldn’t watch.
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:24 PM
Nor enough sense to realize it portrays PSU as being homosexual.

I’d rather the Gentle Ben talk show become a real thing…mothers and daughters reuniting over their hatred of Homer Simpson is powerful TV
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:29 PM
It would be the bee’s knees

an epic t-shirt which OBVIOUSLY was created by an Auburn fan
June 22nd, 2012 at 1:32 PM
“Afternoon Buzz”
Would it pull better ratings than the World Series? Or only after Scripty locks Ben out?

LSU already worried about Nov. 3, love it.
Roll Tide.

Ha! Thanks for asking. I was too far in the back of the venue to see airborne underwear.
The guys did great. They played the same venue two years ago, in front of maybe 10 people, including family and friends. Last night, nearly 100 fans showed – folks who actually knew every song.
To see your kid’s dream come true, on any level, is a hoot.

My alma mater … classy, as always.
Sadly, the shirt saying “then” instead of “than” doesn’t surprise me. Louisiana public education, y’all.

College kids having fun. My, how we forget to do that once we get up in our Ivory Tower….
