Most Dayton douchebags know nothing, absolutely nothing about Cleveland outside of the Browns. Christ, the majority of them are Reds fans. So fuckin’ tired of that. Paul Brown=Ohio State=Bengals. I grew up watching Kenny play. Of course, we did not know it at the time but he, along with Bill Walsh, was a pioneer. They created, experimented with and ultimately were successful, highly successful, in what was then the Cincinnati Offense (we now know it as the West Coast Offense-only the most used and evolved offense in today’s game) Kenny was the first. Before Montana, before Young, before Favre-before them all. They were all “system QBs too.” But Kenny invented the system (with Paul Brown and Walsh). Kenny made it possible for those players to follow. Most, if not all innovators of the pro game, deserve to be and indeed are in the HOF. Kenny should be there too for without him and the blueprint he gave Walsh for his genius, the pro game may be quite different today. The rap on Kenny has always been that he never won a super bowl. Never won a super bowl. Never won a super bowl. Gee, it seems that the HOF committee has lost sight of what goes into a HOF player. Let’s look at his innovation, let’s look at his FOUR passing titles. Let’s look at the era in played in (damn Steelers!!). Let’s look at the statistics compared to other HOF QBs especially of his era. Bob Griese?? Joe Namath?? Terry Bradshaw?? Yeah, I know they’re super bowl winners. Still, Anderson eclipses them all on the field and in the annals of the offensive pro game. It’s time HOF selection committee to get over your SB-winning-QB mantra and put Kenny where he belongs.

It would seem to reason that positions like “LB” or “DL” or “DB” or “OL” which have multiple people on the field at once would have an advantage. I would think it probably depends on how you break down those groupings, if you indeed break them down.

I divided DL into DE, DT, OL into T, G, C, but kept LB.

The answer, at least for debuts since 1955 (so, basically everyone who played the majority of their career since 1960), is RB if we include FB’s like Jim Brown, at 21. QB is tied with LB, WR at 17. Interior Linemen at 16 (11 G, 5 C)

I’m a dinosaur and have a 6 cd changer in my whip. (Don’t use it, IPOD, Sirius yadda yadda) There are 3 cds still in rotation in the CD player, 1 is the Souls self titled and the other is Maniacal Laughter. Love the Souls.

As a Browns fan who grew up in the Cincinnati-Dayton region, I absolutely hate the Bengals. Anderson is the only exception to that. Guy was a terrific player, as nice as anyone you could meet, and was always saddled by being surrounded by…Bengals. Nice work, Mr. Lisk.
