Honest question: assuming he was a ticketed guest/patron, how would this qualify for anything other than a mild ejection from the premises? Someone tell me how this is a jail-able offense.

Same deal as someone running onto a football or baseball field. Don’t those guys usually get a night in jail?

I doubt that guy got locked up…more likely just escorted off the grounds by security. That was pretty damn funny, though.

I know a guy who did it at a ECU game and from what I can remember he was just removed from the stadium.

What an annoying intrusion. But enough about Bob Costas. He’s (in a very slight way) becoming NBC’s Chris Berman. He doesn’t do golf but they parachute him in for the Open. Why? So he can add his customary Buck-ian gravitas? Go prep for the Olympics, Bobby.
