He’s not Bourne
June 15th, 2012 at 8:40 AM
She’s one of those Jekyll & Hyde chicks, can look really good sometimes and then turn around and look like shit.
Then again, if you can get engagement ring to produce this, you’re gold.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:41 AM
You might wanna read the posts on your own site first.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:42 AM
Yeah, I’d say that the movie poster infers that pretty well.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:44 AM
I really wish Mayweather was being mistreated in jail. Like, seven dicks were mistreating his mouth and fartbox.

Nobody reads the

Nobody watches the trailers?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:46 AM
creationism huh? almost made it.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:46 AM
In the first line of the trailer he says his name is Kenneth Gibson.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:47 AM
Keeping America fat and happy. Check out the chick in the short vid for the pizza machine. This is not the type of chicks ordering pizza, it’s more like this
June 15th, 2012 at 8:47 AM
a stripper in New Orleans was dismembered and her body was ID’d by her tattoos
Similar story happened in the Quarter right after Katrina. Couple stayed there to ride it out. Sometime in the months that followed, the boyfriend snapped, killed the GF, dismembered her, and put parts of the body in his fridge and then apparently tried using other parts to cook with. Good times.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:47 AM
played in Little Rock the other night as well. apparently a Hog Call broke out at some point during his set and he thought it was pretty sweet.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:49 AM
so when are we gonna get the stories on luke donald and rory mcilroy struggling from the golf media like they feasted on tiger’s struggles?
i mean, those two have the audacity to be ranked 1 and 2 in the world and look like this. yeesh.
world golf ranking calculation needs a re-adjustment. euro tour events are weighted far too heavily.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:49 AM
I cannot and will not imagine that shit that went down in NO during those five days. I’ve read enough about that to last a lifetime.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:49 AM
I am almost certain that is not Hilary Duff
June 15th, 2012 at 8:49 AM
Good, not great. Haters gonna hate, though.
LOL
June 15th, 2012 at 8:51 AM
corgi’s covering call me maybe? perfect for TBL after bark.
/veal
June 15th, 2012 at 8:51 AM
There should be case studies on human behavior during the break down of the system. Because that shit could easily happen to our whole country or either should there be a pandemic or crippling CME.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:52 AM
other guys I would have considered taking over the Bourne series:
Ben Affleck
Andrew Garfield
James Bond
/it can’t be done
June 15th, 2012 at 8:52 AM
Better than clapping like an idiot with a vacant satisfied look on my face covered in vending machine pizza stains.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:52 AM
Blah.
either = Earth.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:53 AM
Donald has made a living of playing mediocre for 3 days in “normal” tourneys and then firing a low number on Sunday to somehow finish in the Top 5.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:53 AM
Andrew Garfield
As Bourne? Really?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:53 AM
It’s taken you this long to realize this?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:54 AM
Andrew Garfield would have to bulk up and is probably too baby-faced. I never though of Affleck.
I think Renner is a good choice.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:54 AM
arnold should’ve taken over the borne series.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:54 AM
that the dude from the roundup pic?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:55 AM
You realize James Bond is a fictional character right?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:55 AM
Better Bournes:
Christian God
Lionheart from the care bears
Yossarian
America’s satiety
Unicorn
June 15th, 2012 at 8:55 AM
Sometimes I’m unsure what you’re talking about, so I assume you’re on the whiskey.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:55 AM
There are no words…
June 15th, 2012 at 8:56 AM
i really do think TBL is a 15 year old girl sometimes.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:56 AM
Captain America would be the best Bourne
June 15th, 2012 at 8:56 AM
There’s an actor named James Bond?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:56 AM
James Bond is a great actor
June 15th, 2012 at 8:56 AM
Our society is so ill-equipped for a serious crisis it’s terrifying. We lose our shit when the power is out for half a day. A massive crisis that disrupts food, water, power and medical deliveries? We’re so fucked.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:57 AM
clearly, Grizz left his sarcasm detector at home this morning. I thought Affleck would have given it away, but alas …
THERE’S ONLY ONE GUY WHO CAN CARRY THIS SERIES
June 15th, 2012 at 8:57 AM
One more time – he is not Bourne!
Andrew Garfield? what?! seriously?!
June 15th, 2012 at 8:57 AM
i mean, those two have the audacity to be ranked 1 and 2 in the world and look like this. yeesh.
i like luke donald, but what the hell has he done to be number 1? they looked like total crap.
for all of tiger’s “struggles”, he never looked that shitty at a major.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:57 AM
Forest Boy should be the next assassin in Bourne. Although he made up his story, maybe we could “Hollywood it up” and say he suffered amnesia.
Wait, that storyline has been done? Damn.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:58 AM
Should have sent….a poet.
James Bond = actor will be a meme by Monday. And somehow, that’s only the second-funniest/most ridiculous part of that list behind a skinny emo Brit playing a bad-ass supersoldier.
June 15th, 2012 at 8:58 AM
I went to college with a guy named James Bond, not sure if he’d make a good Bourne since I fell asleep in the theater during the first one and never revisited the series after that
June 15th, 2012 at 8:59 AM
I cannot and will not imagine that shit that went down in NO during those five days. I’ve read enough about that to last a lifetime.
It didn’t happen, immediately following the storm. My TV station is located down the block from where this happen. We had evacuated to Baton Rouge and transmitted there for about a month after Katrina. This was after we moved back. So maybe early October 2005?
June 15th, 2012 at 8:59 AM
Totally agree. I’m on the emergency planning committee at a hospital; should something remotely bad happen…. Yeah, it won’t be good.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:00 AM
I thought Affleck would have given it away, but alas …
Affleck wouldn’t be a bad choice actually. The Sum of All Fears is kind of similar and that was alright.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:00 AM
James Bond is Daniel Craig in Skyfall, coming to theaters November 7th
June 15th, 2012 at 9:00 AM
wanna bet? having Renner play another character, yet similar, will have this franchise continue just fine. even better than just hiring a new guy to play James Bond each decade.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:01 AM
My turn.
Boo this man.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:01 AM
TBL — If the Renner Bourne makes more money at the Box Office than any of the Damon Bourne’s — does that make it a better movie?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:02 AM
five time world’s strongest man mariusz pudzianowski?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:03 AM
I only watched it because it has a corgi in it.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:03 AM
Some guy named Justin Rose looked really fucking good yesterday.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:03 AM
LOL. Everyone should click that link to see that guy all dolled up.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:03 AM
minus the fighting and the intrigue and borne’s charisma, sure. nevermind that was an absolute steaming dump of a movie compared to the other clancy movies either.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:03 AM
I remember some of the stories from Katrina about the hospitals having to leave patients to die because the power was off for too long and the doctors had to finally evacuate. And that’s in a major American city with the rest of the country fully functional.
I’ve always maintained that all a terrorist organization would really have to do to bring down America is knock out power grids for an extended period of time. We’d do the rest ourselves.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:04 AM
dude…the most recent PGA? he looked HORRIBLE. the us open after his dad died too.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:04 AM
Don’t come in here barking at me like some junkyard dog! I am the President of the United States!
June 15th, 2012 at 9:05 AM
This is the equivalent of the ratings argument, yes?
If so… well done, young squire. Well done.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:05 AM
Affleck
… is either a horrible actor (likely) or takes horrible parts. He would ruin Bourne.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:05 AM
dude…the most recent PGA? he looked HORRIBLE. the us open after his dad died too.
yeah, i forgot about those. they were pretty bad.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:05 AM
the breakdown of society will happen quickly when it does. doesn’t seem so bad to be in the ‘burbs when you think about it compared to what would happen in the cities.
/2009 TBL food riot’d
June 15th, 2012 at 9:06 AM
RATINGS!!!!!!!
June 15th, 2012 at 9:06 AM
Ben Affleck ruined Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. He doesn’t deserve to ruin Bourne too.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:06 AM
sorry mr president…i don’t dance.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:06 AM
minus the fighting and the intrigue and borne’s charisma, sure. nevermind that was an absolute steaming dump of a movie compared to the other clancy movies either.
I didn’t know you felt so strongly about it. Off topic — I played Boulder Creek about a month ago, loved it — sweet track.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:07 AM
He has won 7 or 8 times around the world the past year. Won both the US money list and Order of Merit last year other then that not to much really.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:07 AM
I’ve been at the hospital for less than two months; the committee is trying to make things right, but it’s a process. It’ll be a while before shit gets straight. I can’t imagine what other, poorer run hospitals have for protocol.
And the power grids going down could come from the sun, too. I’m telling yall, CMEs are fucking legit. Our sun could wipe us out in eight seconds. At any given time.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:08 AM
GET OFF MY PLANE!
June 15th, 2012 at 9:08 AM
very sweet.
yea, i wasn’t saying he doesn’t deserve no. 1 (tho i think the rankings need to be tweaked since euro fields arent as deep as american ones)…i was saying the media needs to criticize him and rory like they did with tiger.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:08 AM
No matter what you say to piss off Spencer, I feel like you can always immediately get back on his good grace by striking up a golf conversation.
/Fact
June 15th, 2012 at 9:08 AM
Affleck is definitely not a horrible actor. Nothing close, actually. He’s probably a better director, though
June 15th, 2012 at 9:09 AM
Agree that Richard Chamberlain was the best Jason Bourne
June 15th, 2012 at 9:09 AM
Anyone else excited for that Revolution show this fall?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:09 AM
From the mom that wants MMMs:
“If I have triple M implants it will take me into the top 5 big breasted models in the world,” —- so you got that going for you, which is nice.
Wildd can’t even find a plastic surgeon in Miami willing to do her 13th breast job. “The skin around her breasts is already extremely thin, and it would be too dangerous for her to undergo more surgery,” — Gross.
“Her nipples are to be found no where online.” — Classy chick.
So, really, you can’t say that she’s a horrible Mom by South Florida standards. She seems to be doing better at mothering than state senator Ellyn Bogdanoff at least. — Awesome …
June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM

June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM

June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM

June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM

June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM
No matter what you say to piss off Spencer
Yeah, I figured to get back to a civil discourse — also, arguing over the merits of “The Sum of All Fears” is not a good battle to pick.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM
He’s not a good leading man. great supporting actor.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:10 AM
ADD’s too much to handle right now…i need to leave.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Since we are talking about what would happen to society if it gets disrupted in any ways, I love disaster/apocalypse movies or TV shows. I’m thinking about getting into Falling Skies on TNT. Any of you watch it?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Our society is so ill-equipped for a serious crisis it’s terrifying.
I got lots of guns, bottled water and canned goods. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Harrison Ford wasn’t doing that great of job with it either.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Andrew Garfield
He is a pretty good actor. Liked him in Social Network, and I just saw him as Biff Loman on Broadway (/humblebrag).
June 15th, 2012 at 9:11 AM
Well, only when American Idol isn’t on to keep us distracted
June 15th, 2012 at 9:12 AM
I did last year. And I hated myself for watching it.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:12 AM
He has won 7 or 8 times around the world the past year. Won both the US money list and Order of Merit last year other then that not to much really.
i have scotch brain, i should clarify. he rarely makes an impact on the US tour. Thats more what I think of when i think number 1- what have you done on the biggest stages against the best?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:13 AM
Did some celebrating with my soon to be ex co-workers last night. I can’t believe that I used to be able to go out almost every Thursday when I was younger.

Good get – I need to stock up on Coppertone.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:14 AM
I tried last season and gave up 3 quarters of the way through
June 15th, 2012 at 9:14 AM
there aint now way they could make bear and the dragon into a movie.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:14 AM
I still dont think that’s Hilary Duff.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:14 AM
Casey affleck > Ben affleck
/acting
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
Not really. Dystopia is fun to think about, but it’s never pulled off right. I’ll watch the pilot, but I don’t have much expectations.
Depends what you’re watching it for. If you like stupid CGI aliens and contrived storylines, then feel free to waste an hour every Sunday night. I made it through 3.5 episodes of the first season.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
I enjoy Falling Skies.. but of course I’m a sucker for apocolyps-y shows and Noah Wyle
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
I’ll keep this one in mind the next time we’re thinking about linking to one of your posts. Reciprocation FTL, apparently.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
ben whofleck?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
Oh? Why not?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
It’s yet another ambitious, risky show that is ruined by insipid dialogue, corny acting and moronic plots.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
Apparently it is — but that’s a weird picture.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:16 AM
You’re in Alpharetta, right? That’s like 20 minutes north of me without a clusterfucked 400 or 85. So… well, that’s 45 minutes north of me then. I’ll bring the Coppertone.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:16 AM
Harrison Ford was better than Baldwin. Connery carried Hunt for Red October.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:17 AM
I thought Patriot Games was good. Clear and Present was okay, but I think that was because of the supporting cast.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:17 AM
On the otherhand, I know very well how I feel about Rachel Weisz.
/tingly
June 15th, 2012 at 9:17 AM

/what do you mean it’s not that Biff?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:18 AM
we’re really going to put out an american made movie that overtly suggests a chinese revoltion? that’ll go over well.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:18 AM
Wow, you guys just killed my interest. I’ve heard rumblings about the same things you guys said here. Guess I won’t waste my time. I guess it’s kind of like Terra Nova. Such a promising premise wasted by unlikable characters and weak dialogues.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:19 AM
Now here’s a Tom Clancy book I’d love to see made into a movie: “Red Storm Rising”. Too bad it’s about 20 years too late to do it.

June 15th, 2012 at 9:19 AM
Not related to your discussion, but starting with Star Wars and ending with Air Force ONe, Harrison Ford went about 20 years with nothing but solid movies. It’s really amazing.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:20 AM
Harrison Ford’s best movie ROLE and actual movie? Go.
Role – Blade Runner (I’m a sucker for scifi)
Movie – Blade Runner was poorly reviewed and received during its release, but has grown into something so awesome since 1982 that it’s one of the American Film Institute’s top 10 scifi movies of all time. BUT, I think The Fugitive was fantastic.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:20 AM
whatever goes down you have to avoid leaving your house for months, let the initial panic die down, then avoid other people at all costs unless you know them.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:20 AM
They should let Olyphant play the next Bourne, although maybe tweak it a little bit.
Have him shave his head and put a bar code on the back.
/best movie ever
June 15th, 2012 at 9:21 AM
I can’t believe TBL dragged Matt Damon into this.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:21 AM
Sepinwall made a good point on twitter. We’ve seen thousands of shows where the premise is leading character is great at his/her job but a mess at home. Now it’s time for shows where the leading men is great at home life and just terrible at his job.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:21 AM
In all seriousness, Renner was the perfect choice for the Bourne Legacy movie. He’s a great actor.
Ed Norton is in the movie as well. Excellent
June 15th, 2012 at 9:21 AM
I had a crush on Dr. Lewis for some weird reason. I think it was her boobs.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:22 AM
BULL SHIT. His Russian accent was terrible. In fact here’s the list of all the actors who were better in that movie than Connery:
Baldwin
Sam Neill
James Earl Jones
Scott Glenn
Courtney B Vance
Tim Curry
Fred Thompson
June 15th, 2012 at 9:22 AM
You’re in Alpharetta, right? That’s like 20 minutes north of me without a clusterfucked 400 or 85. So… well, that’s 45 minutes north of me then. I’ll bring the Coppertone.
Sweet. I’ll share.
I’ve got a freezer full of vegetable seeds to for the post-nuclear harvest. And, of course, it goes w/o saying … I’ve got lots of ammo.
Add to that, I have two “officers of the law” living next to and behind me. And the guy across the street is packing heat as well and is a horticultural expert so our neighborhood will be fine. I expect all the folks in our neighborhood from India will survive just fine given the environment from which they moved.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:22 AM
Harrison Ford’s best movie ROLE and actual movie? Go.
Role: Dr. Richard Kimball or his cameo in Bruno

I’d watch the shit out of a show about America’s worst heart surgeon being able to get over another rough day at the office by spending time with his family…sounds like something ABC Family could put together and have it star Ben Savage
June 15th, 2012 at 9:24 AM
Agree with SG. Connery and his accent were terrible in that movie.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:24 AM
I love that movie and was just going to put that as my favorite role of his!

Naturally I wait until my last good cajun dining experience down here to pee out of my butt all night long. I guess the boudin didn’t agree with me.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:25 AM
Role – Witness. So what if it’s cliched because he was nominated for an Oscar? Just a tour de force.
Movie – It’s really hard for me not to say Last Crusade.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:25 AM
Terrible at his job as in just sucky and incompetent at it? Or maybe conflicted morally about what he’s doing?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:25 AM
Odd thing is, all of this is true except the bottled water, canned goods and vegetable seeds in the freezer.
I also have 2 4-wheel drive pickup trucks for when the govt locks down the main roads.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:25 AM

Movie: Fugitive, but that was due to the entire cast (and Tommy Lee Jones) more than Harrison Ford
Role: Bob Falfa

I always liked The Mosquito Coast

He didn’t elaborate, but I’m guessing just incompetent. FBI agent who keeps arresting the wrong guy or something.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:30 AM
He played Eduardo Saverin (Zuckerberg’s best friend) in The Social Network, is the new Spiderman, and is currently fucking Emma Stone. He also has a big fucking head thanks to his Christian Laettner-like hairdo.

It’s funny because it works on two levels!
/what have we here, a little boy?
June 15th, 2012 at 9:30 AM
Raiders & Last Crusade are both awesome. Temple of Doom has its part, mainly tearing the beating heart out of the chest, and we don’t even mention the fourth movie.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:30 AM
Worst Harrison Ford movie?
6 Days 7 Nights — really tried to cash in on the Anne Heche thing at the time.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:30 AM
Dr. Tim Watley, Hal and Walter White…there are legends, and then there’s Bryan Cranston looking down on all of them
June 15th, 2012 at 9:31 AM
Movie: Blade Runner

Holy shit, when the zombies come, you and your neighbors will become the leaders of the new world.
Oh yeah – I “collect” Gibson guitars, so I’ll own Rock and Roll as well.

IMDB does have a record of a James Bond Singh, who last starred in “English Babu Desi Mem”. He could totally be Bourne, so you can all fuck right off.

Tim Curry’s greatest movie and role: Wadsworth in Clue
June 15th, 2012 at 9:33 AM

I don’t care, I’m completely in the bag for Indy. I’ll watch the 4th if it comes on TV.

June 15th, 2012 at 9:37 AM
There is no more priceless artifact than the film Clue.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:37 AM
it was filmed really well, despite the terrible story line.
you knew the film had issues when you were interested more in how Indy got those medals and citations fighting in WWII than the story that was about to be laid out for the audience.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:37 AM
See, I’ve already forgotten what that was, it’s like my brain has shielded parts of the film from memory like with other traumatic experiences…I do remember early feelings of dread when he survived a nuclear explosion by getting in a fridge
And Tim Curry’s best movie was Muppet Treasure Island
June 15th, 2012 at 9:38 AM
The Mosquito Coast is probably the most underrated Ford movie.
I’m probably the only one, but I have great affection for Sabrina. I’m quite partial to Julia Ormond in that movie.

June 15th, 2012 at 9:43 AM
i love the bond movies, don’t get me wrong, but the movies are such a looney toons portrayal of the intelligence community. borne trilogy had this evil, conspiratorial edge that really resonated in the post-cold war military industrial complex environment.

Overrated? How so? and it shouldn’t be compared to Bond, because they are completely different outside of it involving “spies”

June 15th, 2012 at 9:47 AM

i prefer my international espionage with a buffet of pussy instead of Julia Stiles and that other pancaked ass bitch.
Bond kills bitches and crushes hot ass with no regard. he was the most interesting man in the world before Dos Equis existed.

Bond movies >>> Bourne movies
Bourne books >>> Bond books

I don’t think Bourne and Bond flicks or characters should be compared. Aside from being spies, there’s not really anything similar.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:49 AM
Spencer would never say something that stupid.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:49 AM
Nobody gets criticized the way Tiger does. Everything he does is over analyzed and under complete scrutiny It is remarkable the way he handles it The world rankings are awful there are like 3 events a week over in Europe and each one gets close to the same number of points as the 1 PGA event.
I am not a fan of McIlroy but I might start being one he is always going to be compared to Tiger which is so unfair to do. He is a great player but he will always be unfairly judged.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:50 AM
I don’t care what anyone says, but I will watch Batman and Robin anytime it is on my television set. It’s such a wonderful trainwreck and all of Arnold’s awful one liners slay me.

June 15th, 2012 at 9:51 AM
I saw Waterworld twice in theatres.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:51 AM
Bourne books are a long read but totally worth it. You realize how little the movies took from the books. A true book adaptation would have made a great miniseries
June 15th, 2012 at 9:52 AM
I read the first paragraph of that and had to laugh. Every thing they mention about Andrews trying to keep her name in the limelight had a post on this very Web site. Hilarious.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:52 AM
Girl invited me to watch a movie in her room in college. I was extremely hungover (sambuca, max ice 40s) but expected to fool around so I agreed. She put on Moulin Rouge and I thought the colours and spinning camera would make me vomit on her bed. I told her “Fuck off” and left. Still angry about it.

I saw Gone in 60 Seconds twice in the theaters, on opening weekend.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:52 AM

I had a crush on Dr. Lewis for some weird reason.
One episode, she and the Margolis character, at the end of the show, are leaving for a vacation together or something to that effect. They prance through the ER to the exit in fairly tight all-white T-shirts sporting shit-eatin grins. Memorable.

June 15th, 2012 at 9:55 AM

June 15th, 2012 at 9:55 AM
Similar experience, except instead of the whirling colors… the girl’s loveseat stunk SO BAD that it made me nauseous. It smelled like someone took dirty socks and amplified the odor times infinity. That smell is etched in my nostrils to this day.

I saw “Date Movie” with the redhead from American Pie. I was about to walk out of the theater after like and hour and 10 minutes in to the film, but then it ended. By far the shortest movie I’ve ever seen.
I feel like I may have walked out of Matrix 2 as well, but I might’ve just watched the whole thing and didn’t retain anything.
June 15th, 2012 at 9:57 AM
Saw D2 The Mighty Ducks four times in a week at the theatre. The first time I saw it the whole crowd sang along to We Will Rock You while pouning their popcorn buckets during the gold medal game against Iceland. Best movie theatre experience ever

June 15th, 2012 at 9:59 AM
It’s an awesomely bad movie. First Crichton book film after Jurrasic Park except that unlike JP Crichton was did not help write it. Then you add in the fact that they tried to use an actual gorilla for Amy but they couldn’t so they had to stick a gymnast in there. Also the terrible divergence from the book, Homolka wasn’t even a character in the book. Making Monroe a black guy (although Ernie Hudson is a legend), and the horrible make-up on the gray gorillas. Just a CF of a movie, but it’s fun to quote and watch and mock.

June 15th, 2012 at 10:08 AM
agreed, considering they set up in the first and second movies how the war between man and machine was one is a victor over the other.
then, as soon as matrix 3 is released they put out a world of warcraft type game that takes place after matrix 3. lame ass money grab. couldn’t do that if they free everyone from the matrix.
June 15th, 2012 at 10:08 AM
which is why I tend to believe they stole to original story.

Fuck and Yes! There was also another one where a high ranking member of the Chinese communist party creates a Bourne Imposter, kidnaps Bourne’s wife to draw him out, and frame him for a high level assassination. That was an awesome book as well.

I went to the midnight premiere of the Matrix 2, without seeing the first one, and slept through the whole fucking thing. I still thought it sucked.

Matrix Reloaded is not a bad movie. At all. The third one though…..

The shaky camera was excellent in Bourne 2 and 3. Didn’t like it in Cloverfield.

I went and saw Spice World in 6th grade with a bunch of females. I see no wrong in that decision.

If you like the Black Swan scene I suggest seeing A Dangerous Method. Kiera Knightly topless getting spanked by Michael Fassbender. Add in Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud and some good dialogue and it’s a good movie if you like that type.

Truth. I laughed for 8 straight minutes.

Re Bourne: when he says his name is “Kent Gibson” is in the same room where Damon said his name was David Webb. How do we know that “There was never just one” doesn’t mean there were multiple Jason Bournes? Jason Bourne was a dead guy who David Webb killed so he could become a fake Bourne
June 15th, 2012 at 11:15 AM
David Webb should be a college professor being hunted by Carlos the Jackal, dammit.
