Ive always wondered why they put the extra officials on the same side of the goal as the Assitant Referees (linesman). They should be on the opposite side of the goal for better coverage.

Listening to Guardian European podcast and they posed the question “is ireland the worst team ever to play in the Euros”. I can’t think of one worse. Kudos to Irish fans for supporting their team. But they are clearly over-matched.
