Artie Lange Went on Joe Buck’s HBO Show and Ripped Him Three Years Ago Today
Ah, memories. What has happened since? Lange left the Howard Stern show for rehab, and now co-hosts a nightly radio show. Buck has a sardonic and infrequently updated twitter feed that at times can be disorienting, considering his dull demeanor announcing NFL games. Jason Sudeikis was in two must-see comedies that have propelled him to stardom: Horrible Bosses and Hall Pass. (If you haven’t seen them, hit Redbox on your way home.) Also, he dates Olivia Wilde.
The good stuff begins at 1:25 when Lange goes in on Buck for saying TMZ is his favorite website. It gets uncomfortable around 3:10 when Buck tries to transition from Lange to … anything, and Lange calls him out.

Damn it. I forgot to put my American Flag out for this momentous occasion.
/What does Sudeikis have to do with any of this?

Happy Anniversary?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:07 PM
Slow sports day?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:08 PM
Olivia Wilde better.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:08 PM
Football’s not a sport for exciteable announcers, it’s why Gus Johnson sucks at it and Pat Summerall/Al Michaels serve as the best I’ve seen
June 15th, 2012 at 12:10 PM
Remember when Paul Rudd was in every single Hollywood comedy for about a 5 year period?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:11 PM
That Buck show was the only thing Artie successfully killed that year.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:12 PM
How do you forget about Artie’s Picks!?!?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:13 PM
TBL, did you ever get in contact with Artie regarding him mailing in NFL picks for this site? At the end, it just got embarrassing.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:15 PM
You asked for it, and here it is folks! The Artie Lange Three Year Anniversary Post!! Thank GOD we have this instead of anything pertaining to the United States Open. You know, because nothing moves the needle like rehashing some ancient incident where a fat man belittled a skinny man.
Do you genuinely not give a shit, or are you holding it back for some after-lunch traffic?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:15 PM
When you say “it’s all downhill” you imply that this had something to do with him going downhill – suffice it to say, I suspect he was right near bottom already when this happened.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:17 PM
What’s the post supposed to be about, a screenshot of the current leaderboard? Lisk break down the rarity of the 22-putt round and how the leader is going to fall off a cliff these next three days? CRM comparing the top ten to Muppet Babies?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:17 PM
In TBL’s defense, he’s busy checking out this “suckingcock.com” site that Artie referenced.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:18 PM
Horrible Bosses and Hall Pass were must see comedies? Huh, learn something new every day.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:19 PM
I saw Artie Lange’s movie “Beer League” in a clearance crate by the checkout at a grocery store and bought it on a whim. It was pretty funny and also starred Ralph Macchio, so I give it my seal of approval.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:19 PM
I must be having a stroke because nothing in this sentence makes sense.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:20 PM
Can we do away with the phrase “goes in on”?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:21 PM
TBL, did you ever get in contact with Artie regarding him mailing in NFL picks for this site? It was just embarrassing.
/Already forgot how to strike through.
//Should practice more.

That’s a heaping helping of generous right there.
Dirty Work, on the other hand… an American treasure.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:22 PM
I would make sweet love to Jason Sudeikis. That’s all I got.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:25 PM
Olivia Wilde better.
nice natural boobies, but that face? agggh
June 15th, 2012 at 12:25 PM
Horrible Bosses was really funny. But I also really like Charlie Day and Jason Bateman.
Now Hall Pass … that right there was a car wreck. Even Leon from Curb and Stephen Merchant couldn’t save that movie. Luke Wilson > Owen Wilson.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:26 PM
Olivia Wilde better.
nice natural boobies, but that face? agggh
Didn’t notice her face.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:27 PM
Yep. Must be a stroke.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:29 PM
It has its moments but it is not really rewatchable. The only real funny part I remember from that movie was Day and Bateman accidentally doing coke. Sudekis is never really that funny.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:30 PM
you serious about her face, in that gif? in the roundup pic she must have a mask on, called makeup. i wake up next to that gif-version face, and i don’t say ‘let’s have another’ i say, ‘uh, i gotta go’
/cuz my wife will want to knwo where i was
June 15th, 2012 at 12:30 PM
Well, for starters, there is a post-worth amount of info just in Tiger’s group: Tiger tied for 2nd, Phil and Bubba wetting the bed, and who makes the cut predictions.
Also, there is last years winner also wetting the bed, along with plenty of other familiar names not doings so hot. You could talk about the course and the lengthened yardage and how the 16th is a ridiculously long and challenging hole.
Lastly, I present you the current coverage of golf at TBL. Somethings telling me there is a little bit of room left for more coverage.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:31 PM
That was a horrible movie. I stopped watching right around the time they met Jamie Foxx.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:32 PM
dude is living a clean life now, you think that’s downhill?
why no links to “artie’s picks” EIC?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:32 PM
Maybe he doesn’t care for golf. Surely there are many other outlets that focus on the sport. The EIC can’t like everything you do.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:33 PM
Hindsight is 20/20.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:33 PM
i’m not into golf like i want to be, but even i know that there are only four majors, so at least one post a day during those four days is not a crazy request
June 15th, 2012 at 12:34 PM
yea…colin ferrell was the best part of horrible boss’. well, and aniston in lingerie.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:35 PM
I hadn’t noticed TBL linked that. That says more about young jason’s ability to find the worst possible picture of any woman. I think she has a very nice face and would let her eye fuck the shit out of me.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:35 PM
dirty work was hilarious…”back in my day we didn’t have all these fancy birth control methods…like pulling out.”
June 15th, 2012 at 12:35 PM
Jamie Foxx.
i was sure i heard yesterday that will smiff turned down the django unchained role
June 15th, 2012 at 12:38 PM
Always perplexed by this. In this day and age, one shouldn’t complain about lack of coverage regarding ANY sports. This isn’t the only blog site. I’m sure there’s plenty of golf blogs that has the type of posts that some in here are clamoring for. That is why god created the “address bar” at top of your browser. Just click on it and type in the address of those sites.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:39 PM
Cool?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:39 PM
Its a very under rated movie. Chevy Chase, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley. All in small roles where they can be enjoyed. The fish scene still will get me to bust up anytime watching it.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:40 PM
What’s the post supposed to be about, a screenshot of the current leaderboard? Lisk break down the rarity of the 22-putt round and how the leader is going to fall off a cliff these next three days? CRM comparing the top ten to Muppet Babies?
This guy gets it.
I would make sweet love to Jason Sudeikis. That’s all I got.
Better than being one of the “I’d bang CR7″ horde. Like fucking a grease trap in Guicci shoes…
June 15th, 2012 at 12:42 PM
i agree with much of what you said, but there aren’t too many good golf blogs out there that are updated frequently. and the ones that are deal with the swing and how to play more than the pga.
frankly, i don’t really care if tbl doesn’t talk about golf…saves me from getting upset at his condescending attitude towards it. but its annoying that there are people who enjoy talking about golf as well as people who HATE it. why not let the golfers have their spot instead of taking over a bunch of posts and let the non-golfers enjoy a golf-free zone?
June 15th, 2012 at 12:42 PM
Jaimee Foxx is the only thing that worries me about “Django”

Just when I was beginning to forget about your taste in movies, you give me a refresher.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:47 PM
i agree with will leitch…will smith should’ve played the role. that wouldve been fairly awesome…smith can act, but we’ve never seen him try anything like this.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:49 PM
I guess the lazy, rehash route Is what makes you big money from usa today
June 15th, 2012 at 12:49 PM
That’s reasonable. Don’t see the harm in posting a one sentence “talk about US Open here” thread and letting all the golf enthusiasts congregate there. But don’t see how TBL or any other writers here should be forced to break down the tournament in depth, if they are not interested in golf.
This is why I could never start a sports blog. It’ll never be popular, first because I’m a shitty writer. But above all else, I’d start banning people left and right that kept taking cheap shots about anything I write about, or didn’t write about.
June 15th, 2012 at 12:50 PM
that wouldve been fairly awesome…smith can act, but we’ve never seen him try anything like this
huh? seems like a combo from the one with his kid where he’s hustling for a job (never saw it) with Wild West (never saw it)
how was the one with his kid, btw? looked emotional
June 15th, 2012 at 1:04 PM
why does that sound so damn familiar around these parts?
June 15th, 2012 at 1:05 PM
I walked out of Hall Pass.
June 15th, 2012 at 1:05 PM
After seeing the Aussie’s tits, of course.
June 15th, 2012 at 1:08 PM
Time is starting to speed up too much for me, and I’m only 23. It is literally insane to me that this is happening.
June 15th, 2012 at 1:10 PM
an escaped-slave-turned-bounty-hunter is a combo of a feel good story about getting two lives turned around and a buddy-buddy disney craption movie?
GET OUT.
June 15th, 2012 at 2:20 PM
Great post. I was just thinking about this and was wondering if we would get an update.
June 15th, 2012 at 2:26 PM

yes. drama and shooting
June 15th, 2012 at 2:28 PM
I laughed out loud.
June 15th, 2012 at 2:28 PM
this course is just owning people.

I’ll be leaving work shortly so I get whiskey and get home in time to put Ingerland on my TV and Tigger on my computer.

Artie will be on Louie this season. Please call it a comeback.
