Eh, what injustice? Pac Man probably got a little extra from the till for the loss, gets another fight against a guy he knows he can beat for a little extra $$$ before he goes and gets walloped by Money in the spring before he rides off into the sunset for a few months. AND THEN! The comeback!!!

True. I’ve actually thought about this mainly with the UFC. They use the same athletic commission though so I wonder if they might be able to push this forward. It just makes way, way too much sense… oh wait, that might be the issue!

Obviously, having more judges would be the answer. But this is boxing. The longest most corrupt sport going. More than three judges will never happen. That’ll just mean more people Arum has to pay off.

I also agree with KC – were these “boxing journalists” knowledgeable of how a fight is really scored? Can they judge a punch as landed or not? I’ve seen boxing live, and while I wasn’t in the front row, it’s difficult to know if a punch is landed.

Why would boxing want a fair result? If Pacquaio wins that fight no one cares. Now all these people are out of the woodwork talking about boxing. Seems to me boxing got exactly what they wanted. Any press is good press, etc.

Pomeroy also admitted he knows nothing of boxing. Sampling reporters who have a vested interest in a Manny/Money fight reeks of bad sampling. I agree that Manny should have won, but this is a bad way to support that.

BTW, Manny/Money is never happening.

Are the judges paid? If not, maybe we should. And put them through a playoff bracket first. Only the winners from each region should be judges.
