UPDATE: Off-Campus Shooting Leaves Former Auburn Tiger Football Players Dead
Former Auburn players Ladarious Phillips and Ed Christian were fatally shot outside an off-campus apartment complex late Saturday night. Current player Eric Mack is reported to have also been shot but is in no danger. Mack said the following through his Twitter account, “I appreciate all the love and prayers for me and two lost homies. May god be with their families.” Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson would not release any details about the shooting last night and scheduled a press conference for this morning.

RIP. Details are still sketchy, but it sounds like they weren’t even the intended targets. It’s not clear if they tried to break it up or just were bystanders hit in the crossfire.
