Pablo Sandoval: The Sex Was Consensual. Female: It Was Sexual Assault
Portly Pablo Sandoval of the San Francisco Giants, currently going through a rehab stint following surgery on his left hand, has been accused of sexual assault by a 21-year-old woman.
From the Santa Cruz Sentinel:
The woman met 25-year-old Sandoval in downtown Santa Cruz and went with him and a small group of other people to Seascape Resort in Aptos early Friday, deputies said.
She reported the allegations about 4:30 a.m. and said they occurred at the resort, deputies said.
Sandoval was with his brother and his agent on the night in question, and his lawyer has said the sexual was consensual. Sandoval, an All-Star last year, is fully cooperating with the authorities. [Sentinel via Erik Mal]

Now I know it’s flying under the radar when this isn’t run by this website until 5 days after it happened. Amazing how quiet this has been kept. He’ll skate like Castro did. It’s her word against his. Unfortunate, especially if he did assault her.

Women need to find a new way to extort professional athletes. No one believes this same old story anymore. It is awful if it is true but if it looks like a rat and smells like a rat, well… This shit just discredits women when it comes to sexual assault and desensitized the crime.
