Totally agree. Fried was getting Kershaw and Cole Hamels comparisons. You’re not helping the kids by making those comparisons because fans will inevitably wonder why they did/didn’t turn out to be those players.

Not knocking you, but I think it’s annoying when “draft experts” from any sport compare an amateur who has never played a professional game to a hall of fame player. It initiates a completely unmanageable expectation level. That being said, I liked Houston’s pick. I think Correa has more upside than Appel for sure.
