Loaded in the mid 90′s
In 95, they only lost 2 games going into the SCF, then got swept. In 96 they set the record for wins in a season only to lose in the WCF to the also stacked Avalanche.

Never missed the playoffs. The Wings were out of the Dead Wings Era by the late 80′s. When St. Nick came up in 1991-92?, Wings had a lot of talented players like Yzerman, Feds, Primeau, Vladdy, Carson, Chiasson, McCrimmon, Probie etc.

Kings didn’t steal that game. Aside from the 10 minute stretch with 3 minutes to go in the second to the first tv timeout in the 3rd the Kings dominated that game. The only Devils goal was off the chest of a Kings’ defenseman. If the Devils lose this series Fayne’s missed shot with a wide open net with 10 minutes to go is going to haunt him.
